A common criticism is that they are just links to art, no you can embed the art pixel data in the transcactions themselves, I posted that on Gerard's blog and he deleted it.
And this "surprises" you?

After the recall request was certified and closed, the babbling continued in a fresh AN thread.

Re: Crap or questionable articles

The opening "summary" paragraphs of Sprint Corporation are a shredded mess. The "History" below it isn't much better.

Wiki-Slobber. And even though Sprint no longer exists, there are many signs of paid editing in the history. This is a good reason why nobody fixes bad corporate articles.

Re: A memoral for "100 Reasons NOT to go to Graduate School"......

Funny.....a web search for "reasons to avoid graduate school" either point to that blog, or to the websites of major universities showing the requirements for graduate studies/warnings about the costs, or a few "listicles" blathering about assorted issues and non-issues. The blog owner has a near-mo...

Re: AI lays another Wiki-Egg

The LLM version is used extensively in the non-AI software industry, including by professionals. I'd go so far as to say its been widely embraced there. Sometimes if only just to 'proofread' a final, entirely human created output. I mean why not, it's usually free. And when (not if but when) it fin...

WPO talks about the AI storm

https://wikipediocracy.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=14168 Started June 2, long before the "Simple Article Summary" explosion. Merged from two different threads. Note that the infamous ScottishFinnishRadish said: I've actually done a fair amount of experimenting around this using chatgpt 4.5. You ca...

Re: He gone

They closed and archived the recall request. Nothing happened. It is quite possible that NO action will be taken. Bbb has not done anything since the 9th. If he logs in and starts reverting/banning, THEN you will know it failed. Do not expect any public announcement. Also don't be surprised if someb...

The WMF is experimenting with AIs, and that will lead to bad places

Other thread where I noted the "Simple Article Summary" explosion, which only received attention when 404media ran an item about it: https://wikipediasucks.co/forum/viewtopic.php?p=31317#p31317 It also mentions "Tone Check", which is receiving similar ragey treatment from the Wiki-Inmates. Is the WM...

just look at Gary "Gerhard" Lauck's NSDAP/AO website.
It's down today. Wonder how many DDOS attacks it gets.
