Re: Article about spies who edit Wikipedia

WP is surely one of ArpAnet's runaway successes, in any case. But I don't think of Wikipedia, as a whole, as being a disinformation operation, at least not as such. The bureaucratic technology protecting certain sectors, certain dys-ops, and restricting speech is pretty effective, under the convenie...

Re: Wikipedia's political bias problem

Well, it would seem that since Oct 04, 2019, Wikipedia's political bias problem has gone away!

Re: Wikipediocracy: SEKRIT!!! oR eLSE!!!

I'm glum, Stani. You totally dodged my question about the resurrection date for all the content trapped in un-openable containers. All those punk bands, gone. Randy should be furious. ^^

Re: Armenian Genocide

I remember that this story, about which I'm not going to revisit the details either, taught me a bit about just how big en.wp is... since then, I've learned there are some fairly strong Azeri guilds...

Re: Bbb23

Bah... Haworth was the one who first deleted the direct citations of Tryptofish as an "attack page". Granted, apparently another of TF's buddies marked it as worthy of deletion, but RH did the dastardly deed without much reflection. Meanwhile shuffling through my rubbish been, I see that Bbb23 doesn...

Re: Wikipediocracy: SEKRIT!!! oR eLSE!!!

This, I have to say, is a bit annoying, because you have to remember what was visible and what wasn't. (I'm not speaking of the super-sekrit sub-fora where you have to be invited (of which I gather there are plenty), but even just the standard members-only wikiporn). I actually felt guilty for accid...

Re: Sagecandor/Minassian thread

Ha! Jasonanaggie ended up vanishing. I wonder what that was all about. Anyway, I'm bumping this just to say that the searchbox doesn't work very well. (Typing either Sagecandor or Minassian yields zero results.) Nice skin, very glad to see that videos are supported (unlike at WPO), and great work re...
