Re: Article “Criticism of Wikipedia” is write-protected!

Re: What's going on at WPU now?

Yeah WPO has been pretty dead for a while. Part of the blame falls on zoloft for driving out all the critics and making it into another forum for wikipedia admins to justify the toxic and abusive conduct on wikipedia. Characters like Beeblebrox, serial shit heads like vagilint, etc. Its really gone ...

Re: The general Sarah Stierch thread

I still remember when she worked at the WMF and got fired for writing articles for profit. She should have been desysopped, but because she was an admin, the rules didn't apply to her.

Re: Planned website redesign with limited screen width. MASSIVE criticism, even by long-term Wikipedians!

this is pretty much the standard dumb stuff the WMF does. The community asks for an improvement, the WMF drags their feet and eventually releases garbage. The community complains, the WMF tells them to shut up and they all go on.

I just read that Cassianto and schrocat are claiming retirement. Good, Wikipedia is better off without them. Tqo more gone that voted for my ban.

Re: Users retiring from Wikipedia

To me it was mostly ok up until about 2014. That's when it really started to shift.

Re: Users retiring from Wikipedia

oh I'm sure. In the case of Rlevse we were working closely on some projects on commons and when Michael Maggs decided to indef me without discussion, Rlevse never came back. In the case of tiptoey, they asked Beeblebrox or Floquenbeam, I forget which, about my ban. They told them to F off, a couple ...

Re: Users retiring from Wikipedia

I could list a lot that have retired, not all good ones either.

Two I like that left due to bullying directly related to my case:
- Rlevse
- tiptoey

1 that should have been banned.
- bbb23 (only useful thing he's done in a decade).
