Re: How to use Wikipedia properly: the best and worst of Wikipedia
I don't think there is proper way of using Wikipedia/fandom other than to never use it and Google makes it very hard to avoid. But Wikipedia does get some things right = articles that don't matter. So entertainment articles are usually pretty good. Anything about anything on TV, in movies, music, bo...

Re: How and why you should sue Wikipedia as your first and only resort
If Wikipedia is causing you harm, don't sweat it. You have options. Well, you have one option, but it's a doozy............ This is not bad advice, but jeeeezus christ, write a book or something.....or dump it on a blog. No one's gonna read all that. I keep telling Ogniszy that NO ONE has EVER succ...

Re: We are all Kumioko
I think your confusing global lock with global ban. A lot more people are locked than get banned. But, i wouldn't create a wiki just for them. A lot are blocked for good reasons like vandalism, copyright violations. I you want to create a wiki i would pick a topic your interested in and invite peop...

Re: We are all Kumioko
I do actually. I've been building up the military wiki on fandom for years. Why not have an independent one instead? Fandom is still run by Jimbo's cronies and, worse, is run by a for-profit corporation. Tons of ads too. Thats not the only problem I have with fandom but the fact that fandom editor ...

Re: Should Wikipedians with severe autism be barred from admin positions?
How can anyone tell from screen name alone who and who doesn't have autisim? What I think is actually going on are just power hungry guys and gals that don't have anything meaningful going on in their real life.

Re: Crap or questionable articles
Wikipedia is no different than IMDB when it comes to obscure underground films. "Lip service" is paid, but the fanatical detail that Hollywood blockbusters get (including lengthy plot summaries) doesn't extend to anti-blockbusters. In that way Wikipedia is not a "revolutionary" or even an "accurate...

My good, no wonder wikipedia sucks if they cannot regonize that infowars is concpiracy luncy not grounded in any reality, while Daily fail is your typical british tabloid which lies if it suits them.
