Re: Kumioko, the Saga Begins Backwards

Thanks and I agree. I trained for months and finished in the top 15. Partly due to people on Wikipedia, I opted not to make my name public on the event out of concerns of being outed by Wikipedia community members. Because lets be honest, they cant be trusted. Ironically not drinking Mtn Dew was har...

Re: Kumioko, the Saga Begins Backwards

Ill try to be more active but I still lurk. Been working on a PhD and training for an ultra marathon (black beards revenge 100k). So was super busy for a whle. Didnt really even have time to throw shade at wikipedia on twitter for a couple months. But I'm not going away. Ill be a permenant thorn in ...

Re: Wikipedia is dying, slowly

It isn't really going to "die slowly", it's more than that, due to the Holocaust distortion scandal and another scandal. At least people like Kumioko will finally rest easy as they are gonna be vindicated. If people can keep wikipedia in the news with discrediting things like this, eventually its g...

Re: Wikipediocracy: don't sue Wikipedia?!?

I've said this before but suing wikipedia or even wikimedia isnt the answer. There are too many legal protections in place (at least for now) and theyre to financially capable. What they need to do is sue the editors. Then no matter the outcome, win or lose, they win. Most editors dont have the fina...

Re: Slate piece "How Wikipedia Erases Indigenous History"

Personally I'm pretty surprised by this article. Not because it surprises me about the content but because Slate published it. Slate usually only does puff pieces about Wikipedia. Its rare for them to do actual critical journalism when it comes to Wikipedia.

Re: Wikipedia trannies beauty show

Dear god! I don't login for a while and show up to this? I think I threw up in my mouth a little with some of these. The way Wikipedia has shifted to the hard left over the years though none of us should be surprised. These are just the public ones too. Im certain there are a lot more we dont ...

Re: Active admins at ALL-TIME LOW

With so few active admins and less as time goes on its only a matter of time until there aren't enough to prevent the vandals, spammers and trolls. I would argue there arent enough now.

This of course is mostly due tp the toxic and hostile atmosphere of wikipedia. Hasten the day!

Re: Lugnuts

In order for Wikipedia to go offline it would take an almost perfect storm. A multi year trend of losing funds, some massive scandal akin to tax fraud or copyright lawsuit to cause the community and the readers to lose confidence, changes in laws, etc. Their bleeding editors and admins and at some p...
