Re: Purge the Portals!
It really is amazing how socially cannibalistic the Wikipedia community when they sense the blood of one of their own! The flock over to take their swipes like bums fighting over a bologna sandwich.

Re: Drmies
I really can't say anything nice about Drmies. He is the typical type of Wikipedia administrator that does almost nothing of actual value to the project yet seems to believe that because he is an admin, the rules do not and should not apply. He is the perfect example of the hostile workplace enabler...

Re: WMF sacks Chinese Checkusers
I must note; I can find NO independent coverage of this mess. It's even difficult to find anything about it on WMF servers. The threads here and on WO are all I can find. There is some talk about it on James talk page on Meta here: https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/User_talk:Jalexander-WMF

Re: Purge the Portals!
To be honest, I agree that most if not all of the portals should be deleted. They are nothing more than a timesink and were never used in a useful manner. Re: Ever wondered about hapless nerd "Epicgenius"?
When will these losers learn that letting people find out your real identity is a very bad idea. A positive editor today is an enemy tomorrow and if they know who you are the WMF and the site admins can and will do anything including violate their own policies to get at you. That includes outing you...

Well I hear it crashed into the South Pacific ocean tonight! So it fell in a relatively safe area.

Well there is one positive takeaway from this...we can confirm people know this forum is here and are reading it even if they do not actively post.

Yeah James is a major POS...err, I mean neckbeard!.
For what it's worth, I have seen a lot of questionable and controversial bans on multiple sites, but that wasn't one of them.
