Re: Wildfires in California
Smoke from fires is super-annoying. We got choked out for several days last summer where I'm at in Oregon even though we were hundreds of miles away. If you've ever been close to big forest fires, it's downright oppressive — can't go outside, feel like you're smothering even indoors... Meanwhile, T...

Re: Wildfires in California
I've never really looked at a detailed map of California. I always thought of the fires as being in the east in the mountains and never thought of the fires spreading to the major cities like Los Angeles. The Mojave Desert is looking to be the safest place in the state right now.

Re: Don't have a Bat-Cow, man
Looks to be heading towards deletion instead of a redirect. Where are the army of Inclusionists and/or Batman fanatics to save the Bat-Cow?

Re: Don't have a Bat-Cow, man
Article on this topic from Genderdesk: https://genderdesk.wordpress.com/2019/10/31/suckswatch-bat-cow-and-redirect-pocket-deletions/ If someone did some serious research and brought the article up to a higher standard, I'd have no objections. You could argue that a "serious" encyclopedia ...

Re: Bat-Cow
As an aside, I have no problem renaming this thread title to "Don't have a Bat-Cow, man" if a mod wishes to change it. I should've thought of it earlier. But I am pleased that this minor fancruft article I pointed out is now involved in intrigue. Off-wiki discussion? Money (albeit for char...

Don't have a Bat-Cow, man
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bat-Cow
Something about this whole article just screams "hoax." And whose going to double check all these obscure comic books to confirm if it's real, partly real, or not real at all? I know Batman has a dog, but no other animals.
