Re: Paid Editing on WP is permissible

Alison mentioned this guy on Facebook -- there is a petition demanding that he resign his seat on the Dail.

So I checked his Wiki article
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Simon_Harris_(politician)
And sho'nuff he's been editing it himself.....
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:C ... onHarrisTD
The account that created it has that funny smell too....

Re: Paid Editing on WP is permissible

Re: The WO blog is now nearly moribund.....

Re: Trump subthread: Awful Command and Control of ICBMs

Eric Schlosser wrote Command and Control , a book and later documentary on the history of US nuclear weapons and the endless accidents that happened during the Cold War. I recently read this--highly recommended. The USAF did something incredibly stupid, they fielded the Titan II as an "interdi...

The DM makes it up AND OTHER OUTLETS REPEAT IT. That is the problem--not that the DM is fast and loose.
Wikipedia is no better than its sources--and "good" sources are more difficult to find than Wikipedians seem to realize.

Thanks, I'm adding this to the book notes. Had not looked at her post-Director history very closely.

That would be helpful, although it might be better to save them as HTML files locally. PM me and we will hook up via email so you can forward copies.
