New Wikipediocracy blog post, BY FRAM!!!!111 ROFL

Post by CrowsNest » Sat Sep 07, 2019 11:04 am

Just when you thought these idiots couldn't get any more pathetic, more in the pockets of the wild eyed conspiracy theorists, well, they have.

Apparently, having loudly declared he had never participated in any critic forum, it turns out Fram did. Unbelievably, "in lieu of a statement" about FRAMBAN, he instead gave them a blog post about one of his pet peeves, Wikidata. Because, well, that's what you do when you're an absolutely blinded by your own righteousness campaigner. Fucking fruit loop.

Because they're so desperate to do anything to make the Foundation look like they were the ones in the wrong to ban Fram, who is a hero to their scummy members, most of whom are hostility loving Wikipedians just like him, they amazingly chose not to publish it there and then, knowing as they must have done that it offered very little benefit to them as a standup alone blog post, but made Fram look like exactly what he is, just at the time their people on the inside were desperate to pretend he was something he wasn't (and which he is proving he is now even more, as he flips his lid at the realization ArbCom are not going to comprehensively declare him innocent).

They've posted it now though, in a desperate ploy to recruit Fram for their ranks, knowing as they do that if the unlikely happens and the toxic community doesn't choose to restore one of their toxic own to the rank of Administrator, then he would be a perfect fit for their hate site, especially if he is willing to write blog posts, something they seem to struggle with.

The blog post itself is the usual for their distorted output, where the Foundation is responsible for everything, everything, wrong with Wikipedia. It is essential nothing more than an unvarnished retelling of what Fram has done about an issue he feels strongly about, Wikidata vandalism. From the Arbitration case proposed decision, we already know that involves trying to tear the faces off of people whom are supposedly his colleagues, not taking no for an answer, not countenancing any other interpretations of a problem and it's solutions but his own, casting himself as a lone warrior, a hero saviour of Wikipedia, over a problem that really nobody gives a shit about, at least compared to other more pressing issues (mainstream coverage being their standard measure of a problem for documenting in the encyclopedia).

It's actually worse that Wikipediocracy claims to have added to this blog post, because the resulting one sided pile of crap can be blamed on them as well, a true collaboration between their inner circle and the One True Critic they covet.

Reading the blog post, what do we see? Well, there's the usual hyper-localism Fram and Wikipediocracy are known for. Despite Wikipedia having been part of a global movement with sister sites with different functions for over a decade, Fram's solution is still basically to divorce Original (and Best) English Wikipedia from the rest, on the obviously flawed assertion that Wikipedia somehow has its shit together. There's the usual whining that they weren't consulted for their approval for shit that has movement wide implications.

Sure, you can't call Melania a whore on en.wiki for more than a few seconds (and shouldn't the position of that blog post be it shouldn't be possible at all?), but for all those lesser profile people he mentions, yeah, you can quite easily defame them indirectly editing en.wiki, often for days, before anyone even notices, if they ever do. I don't know of any technology or access changes that have been introduced post-Seigenthaler that has properly closed this vulnerability, especially if we seriously believe Fram takes the view it should never ever happen.

The problem of course stems from the very thing he says is Wikidata's vulnerability - lack of users, especially ones interested in boring maintenance work, for the greater good. Of course, what is the Foundation's view on that problem? It is that if they make the movement a more welcoming and inclusive place, if they get rid of hostile actors like Fram, more people will join, and the true power of volunteerism will be brought to bear, with literally thousands of vandal patrollers performing their Watch duties. And there are ways they can be made to more efficiently work across sister sites, although it necessarily requires en.wiki to ease its death like grip control of who does what in their domain, which is of course in the gift of local hostile Administrators to decide. It will be from his cold dead hands, as you can see from the post.

No surprise Fram can't find the column inches to give that view. No surprise Wikipediocracy don't either.

Wikipediocracy are all in, wholly supportive of both the conspiracy theories that claim Fram is a victim, and ready and willing to broadcast the so called criticism he claims is why the Lizard people rose up against him. Even though, as the post shows, he's been saying this shit for years, with no discernible effect that seriously threatens the basic business model of the Foundation.

All in. As if Wikipediocracy ever haven't been, at least since control of the site was handed over to people who aren't really serious about being an independent criticism platform at all, done by people who follow the facts and apportion blame where required, without fear of favour. Wikipediocracy would much rather cater for the interests of the hostile actors, the aggressive isolationist locals who dominate the supposed autonomous self-governance of en.wiki.

As has been established many times now, don't bother posting critical comments to that blog post, pointing out its obvious flaws of logic and clear bias, they won't publish them. It's all about control. Needles to say, if you post there and have ever been remotely critical of Fram, you best start packing your forum bags now. He's coming for you, and if you thought the en.wiki community were negligent in failing to control him, you 'ain't seen nothing yet.

What a pretty face you have my dear. AAARRRGGHHHH!!!!1

I've replied, linking my name to Paraduin :)

Why so surprised? Wikipedia itself is just as bad.

So Fram is the kind of person, who attacks new products in their infancy, instead of helping out? The kind of person, who demotivates good-willing, hard-working contributors by criticizing the early issues, that are part of any new project, and unavoidable? Anybody who nurtured a project into adolescence knows this is part of the process, and respects the hard work behind what's been achieved. It seems he has no such experience, and does not know what it takes to make it work.

He submitted this blogpost, but didn't fix the vandalism on wikidata, where he's not banned. Like the bystander, who films a burning car after an accident, instead of helping the victims. We don't listen to the criticism from that kind, we shun them.

That essay raised my opinion of Fram. It looks to me like he has identified a real problem with Wikidata. It's not clear that Wikidata itself is the problem, but rather the way in which Wikidata can be used. I don't see that essay as harassing anyone.

If Fram say something it's mana heaven, if I have said the same for years and years it's complete unimportant.
Wikidate is build up out of database right protected rubbish. And is only attractive for guy's in the spectrum who don't give a bloody fuck about copyvio or of any quality check. Fot them it is only letter, no matter where they came from.

Wikidate iis extreem dangerous because it is filled up with errors and it should not be allowed to use it in any Wikipedia because it is a source what itself is a pedia product. With as extra handicap it is the wet dream of every troll. If you troll something you trollit wiki-world wide.

But what you write is complete rubbish Abd and not where it is about.
Framgate is about the misbehaver of Fram, special against Laura Hall and Guido den Broeder, who he even accused of doing extreem bad thinks with children. And by being right he doesn't raised my opinion.

Fram is just a dick. And there is the whole matter about, Abd, not about Wikidate.

Fram blog wrote:But at the same time, Wikidata administrators and the Wikimedia Foundation (WMF) want to use Wikidata as a central repository of data that is automatically shown on every language-version of Wikipedia.

Can you give me a source, link of this statement, Fram? Because what I have seen on WP-Nl was it a chapter thing, the Dutch chapter folks as Danielle and RonnieV, RonnieV bot pushed it.

Of course I can be wrong, but I have never read somewhere WMF wanted to use Wikidata as a central repository of data that is automatically shown on every language-version of Wikipedia.

SSSSHHHH!

You shouldn't be drawing attention to their official policy that blog contributors are to remain anonymous. Because of the shame and embarrassment.

Obviously they wanted everyone to know Fram write this, it being a desperate plea to get him to join their ranks. But the name of the slack-jawed morons who supposedly also worked on it, who let such an obviously flawed and biased piece through their doors, making it so easy for me to shred it, no, they cannot be known.

Chickens.

What is it that makes these people so afraid of critical feedback? I don't shy away from defending anything I write, and I look forward to the day they find the balls to try and do it in a meaningful fashion, not the piecemeal chicken shit way they do now. I tend to make sure my work can be defended through, is the obvious difference between us.

Eagle is the standout funniest. Literally pretends like I don't exist, knowing Uncle Jake will protect them in their little walled garden. A Wikipedian to their very core. Maybe one day they will understand this is why people ignore them.

So do I. If anyone see something what is not true, not correct of what I claim you can always confront me. Here, on WO, or on the Eerbeek blog.
But no Vigshit please, only real arguments.
