Industrial Scale Anti-China Wikipedian is Former Atlantic Council Senior Vice President and Latin America Regime Change Advocate

For several months now the Chollima Report has been following the work of a notorious anti-China Wikipedian simply known as “Amigao“. As stated in our initial report, Amigao edits China related topics on Wikipedia on an industrial scale and works round the clock to taint them on a negative slant, edit-warring, reporting and banning everyone who gets in his way. Our initial investigation theorized from his early edits that Amigao was someone linked to the Washington D.C blob, but we were unable to decipher who.

That was until today when an anonymous twitter account called “Lukashenka’s cat” gave a tip off to his identity, which on further research and investigation has been confirmed to be true beyond possible doubt. This notorious Anti-China Wikipedian is in fact former Senior Vice President of the Atlantic Council, Peter Schechter, demonstrating forthright how the Washington D.C blob are actively manipulating the “anyone you can edit” website in order to fortify their narratives. So how did we confirm it was him?

this was actually an interesting find. I had never heard of the "Chollima Report", and if you don't read it carefully, it often looks like some kind of "astroturf" blog run by the CCP, possibly with support from North Korea. But claims not to be. Very weird.

A few of the posts read like pro-DPRK propaganda. Badly translated.

As for Amigao: started editing in 2009 but did almost nothing until late 2019. Cannot stop fighting with people over China-related content. Tends to be "sneaky", and backs off if challenged for "vandalizing" something. Normally there would be some blocks in his records, but this block log is empty. He must have "insider support" of some kind.

Obviously not a reliable source because they don’t call Xi or Kim Jong Un an autocrat or dictator.

(Xi and Un are aristocrats. I’d love to retire in North Korea or be a tourist guide there.)

Is the actual evidence laid out anywhere?

Hell no, this is basically at the "disgruntled mumbling" stage. Although the archive of Amigao's talkpage is somewhat "compelling" if you want to accuse him of POV pushing. It's full of those fucking smug "please refrain from" messages from admins and patrollers (and from several obvious other POV pushers on Chinese content). When challenged Amigao usually backs off.

Peter Schechter has a WP page and Amigao has edited that article.
