The phrase "trusted information" carries the tacit suggestion that 'trust' is not something you the individual have a right to grant or withhold at your discretion, but a broad consensus or agreement that one has a social obligation to condone. Notice it's written in the passive voice. 'Trusted' by whom?

Looks like Musk and Ramaswamy's DOGE is going to recommend complete government defunding of NPR and PBS News and using that clip of Maher promoting post-modernist ideology as part of the justification.
