CNET is no longer a "reliable source"

Because no one else is doing it--not even the media.

CNET is no longer a "reliable source"

Barely noticed this week:

https://futurism.com/wikipedia-cnet-unreliable-ai

OF COURSE that gigantic asshole David Gerard is behind it. OF COURSE. And it happened a year ago.

I checked--Wikipedia currently has 11,154 links to cnet.com. It will take a LONG time to remove them all.

Meanwhile I've seen NO concerted attempt by the Wiki-Bungs to deal with AI-generated "journalism". Given how difficult it is for human readers to tell the difference, I expect they will fuck this up too.

And funniest of all

The stupid comments really put a cheery ending on top of this crapcake.

The Joe-Blow-Mes at Techdirt seem to have forgotten how deranged WP really is. And remember: long ago I caught their founder Mike Masnick editing the Techdirt article on WP. Plus he created his own BLP, which was later deleted....
