"Article protection" is a joke

Good, bad, biased, paid or what-have-you. There's an endless supply.

These charts were found on Reddit's r/mapporn and appear to be accurate

It also shows how little of a shit Wikipoodians give about Africa........

The difference between "anyone" and "anyone with an account and 10 edits" isn't major.

Not the point. These charts show what they WANT to ignore, for political/social reasons. And what attracts stupid editwarring/vandalism.

Why Ohio's article needs more protection is a bit on the comical side; it is frequently vandalized (big deal), but there are a couple of WO:OWNers hanging around. All extremely pointless and cringey.

What do you get when you let random clowns edit a "reference work"? You get this chart. It shows which citizen of that country has the most articles in various OTHER language Wikipedias.

And why David Woodard? As it turns out, a list of socks that look amazingly like David Woodard were grinding various language Wikipedias totally unnoticed. To glorify himself back in 2014-2017. Otherwise he's a nobody.

Obvious example, long tagged as "self-promotional":
