And here we go.. into bedlam..

It was editwarred, and censored, and swiftly archived. Cullen's comment is long gone, with no evidence it ever existed.

I'm amazed it still isn't protected, 99% sure that in a week it will be ECP'd if not Gold locked.

What the hell is this?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cyclone_Mark_V_Engine
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cyclone_Waste_Heat_Engine

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:C ... hazhizname
apparently hates it (obsessively)

https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?ti ... &limit=500
seems to love it (obsessively)

Note: Cyclone Power Technologies became notorious in the early 00s for helping to develop a robot that could eat people, "according to Joe Rogan".
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Energetic ... ical_Robot

So where's the Cyclone Power article? Or the article about its founder Harry Schoell?

A previous article was deleted in 2008, as "spam"....

Most WP articles about drugs are at least okay in quality and detail--good for consumers of those drugs to stay informed.

I've just found an article for a drug (an old one too, used in OTC medications like Pamprin and therefore long out of patent) that is pathetic and useless. Shredded in recent years, partly by the now-banned patroller Edgar181. He did that shit for FOURTEEN YEARS. Little bastard.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pamabrom

Looks like you're better off consulting another website on this...

Effectively unsourced and stub article, yet has had several talk page fights, an AfD, and a few minor edit wars.

There were TWO attempts to delete. I suspect someone tried to "speedy" it and the diffs were oversighted. Only in the ugliest editwars do you see crap like that. And this isn't even an important article--but it DOES describe a good number of WP manbabies. I detect some butthurt.

Also; fuck you Tim.
Delete - Wikipedia is WP:NOTURBANDICTIONARY. This is a classic example of a dictionary definition, with lots of unencyclopedic cutesy examples tossed in for good measure. Blech. Carrite (talk) 06:02, 14 August 2017 (UTC)
I need to say "fuck you Tim" more often. He's still making an abrasive, shallow pest of himself on Wikipediocracy. Never learns, never changes, thinks he knows it all; doesn't.

Noted author of beginner's books about electronics Don Lancaster died recently. If you were a hobbyist in electronics or computers in the 70s thru 90s, you probably owned at least one of Don's books. He was "eccentric".

https://gilaherald.com/obituary-for-don-lancaster/

The tinaja quest has ended. FINALLY. (It's a stupid old joke he was constantly dropping into his columns.)

And yes, folks: his Wikipedia article is still crap. And still uses "primary references", meaning Don's personal website tinaja.com, in violation of Wikipedia's precious "rules". Not that anyone on the "magical encyclothing" really cares. Don wasn't famous enough.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Don_Lancaster

One thing I've noticed about electronics "gurus": they usually have eccentric or extreme political beliefs. On top of a giant ego.

Or in some cases they are religious extremists. Who make a living as scientists, but have a real problem with sciencey-things with political implications, like climate change or evolution. Compare Lancaster's article to the Forrest Mims article. Certain Wikipedia nerds love Mims, and others hate him. Thus we get a long ranting article.

Those rules don't matter if fans have enough Wikipedians willing to support them. This article is a great example. Most of the sources are primary (it was co-produced by IDW publishing), tweets, or from fan sites that usually aren't considered reliable (Equestria Daily is a fan site that wouldn't be considered reliable by their supposed rules). Yet because their enough neckbeards on Wikipedia willing to defend it, it was not only not deleted, but even passed GA review. It's honestly ridiculous, if there weren't bronies on Wikipedia, this would have been deleted faster than you can say "friendship is magic".

Jennifer Sey - an article with intentional omissions from two directions.

They don't call her "Hitler" yet they don't describe her position points - she is the poster child for inconsistent handling.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jennifer_Sey

Sey is currently talking about the decline of San-Francisco after being cancelled-cultured by Levi's
"If you call out homelessness and crime on the streets you are now branded a racist"

She describes herself as being a traditional left leaning liberal - becoming the target of extreme vocal cult like minority on the left.
She calls the extreme left (a small minority of people driving the dialog) a cult.
Its all about pandering with folks being afraid to be called names and canceled.

It is/was impossible to speak against a radical belief system - from her view Levi's could not care less about the belief system in question as their motivation was to pander to a regressive minority as to gain sales.

Same thing as Wikipedia
--It has a radical internal belief system (cult) - the first failed belief is that they are building an encyclopedia
--There is a regressive minority of people dominating Wikipedia complete with insanity and an extreme agenda
--Google could not care less as long as the profit is in place.
Wikipedia - "Barely competent and paranoid. There’s a hell of a combination."

I hate the term 'extreme left'. In the US, it almost always means extremely socially "progressive". These 'extreme leftists' are ironically almost always right-wing. She's a business executive, she isn't a leftist in any way.

[[transmaxxing]] was deleted. Surprised it even lasted a week.

They included 4 citations, none of which pass Wikipedia standards
http://web.archive.org/web/202306240816 ... ansmaxxing

specifically, a blog, a subreddit, a Medium.com-like website called 'unherd', and a Glenn Beck "news" site

Wikipedia responded by falsely accusing all 3 contributors of being the same person, after which they were all blocked from editing wikipedia, with some linking to their youtube vlogs afterward to prove they weren't the same person. After block review request, they were banned again as meatpuppets. Then indeffed for the same reason.

The three contributors being:
User:llamato https://youtube.com/@llamato
User:Kat_the_vat https://youtube.com/@kat_the_vat, and
User:Vintologi (the guy who made his own religion promoting "transmaxxing")

transmaxxing is basically when you sexually transition from male to female and recreation is a primary stated reason for transitioning. The first two in that discussion are likely friends with vintologi but also seemingly banished from the various transmaxxing chat rooms

Here was the deletion discussion, where they hilariously cited incel wiki,, piratewires, and their own vlogs as WP:RS
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia ... ansmaxxing
