Jimmy Wales is British?

Jimmy tweeted "Now I am British" on 13 September.
https://mobile.twitter.com/jimmy_wales/ ... 7219784705
This includes a picture of him front of a portrait of the Queen, next to the British flag, and holding an unreadable certificate.
Despite the fact Jimmy Wales' biography is fully protected, i.e. only editable by Wikipedia's most trusted editors, and despite the fact this Tweet isn't remotely sufficient to support such a change under Wikipedia policy, somehow it is still the case that as of right now, Jimmy Wales is a "British-American internet entrepreneur".
The Administrator who made that change, just a couple hours after it, specifically cited that Tweet, but only in the edit history. The page content as delivered now falsely implies to the reader that the "British-American"-ness of Jimmy can be verified by reading the contents of a 2011 article in the Jerusalem Post or a 2013 piece in New York Times Magazine, the general public having been brainwashed into believing the presence of those little numbers at the end of a line meaning the content has been checked against the given source.
This suspect content has stood, unchallenged, much less unremoved (as Wikipedia policy demands in this situation) for three whole days.
Insane.
