Wow, you got held back quite a few grades in High School Timmy!

Was it in the south? I heard they can be a bit ovist down there.

If someone did some serious research and brought the article up to a higher standard, I'd have no objections. You could argue that a "serious" encyclopedia does not need such an article in the first place, but I know the Inclusionist-Deletionist War will never end.

I would like to think that women in comics are being better depicted and, by extension, they would get better coverage in Wikipedia... in theory.

A "serious" encyclopedia... I think you persuaded me.

Looks to be heading towards deletion instead of a redirect. Where are the army of Inclusionists and/or Batman fanatics to save the Bat-Cow?

ORLY?

The King of Sucks wrote:Hasn't got a chance of being deleted, it's a merge at best, if that's all there is to say about it.... If a debate even ensues, which is not a guarantee, it would end up with a decision to merge. Timmy needs to accept he doesn't really have a good handle on the demographics of the Wikipedia community. He wishes they would be horrified and just delete it with prejudice as wholly "unencyclopedic"...

I won't sit by the flickering screen waiting for a mea culpa to appear, since Trump and Chickennest are never wrong and everyone else is crazy and incompetent, not them...

Mea culpa.

Of course, to avoid such a mistake I'd had to have had detailed knowledge of the Batman comic universe. Sadly not my forte. Not yours either Timmy, I assumed. Was I wrong?

Anyway, Timmy, where do you ever get this idea I don't admit when I'm wrong? The only people telling these lies are people without the integrity to do it themselves. Is that what you are? That sort of person. A very bad person?

On that score, of course, the victory here was in showing you to be the sort of Wikipedia editor who quite happily lies about process, deceives his fellow contributors, wasted their time, and otherwise acts in a very shady manner, all just to win an argument on the internet.

:D

Now at this point, Crowsnest could have shown a little class. He could have still scored points by being gracious and posting a screenshot of a donation to an animal shelter, or even a photo of dropping off some cans of puppy chow. Or if he just wanted to donate his time, as Wikipediots are wont to do, his home town even has volunteer opportunities. Or he could have just mumbled something non-committal.

But does he grasp the opportunity? No. Unfortunately, lately he just seems intent on bullying people. He calls Carrite a liar. Carrite may be a lot of things, but that is not one of them.

Timmy lied.
Hi. A heads-up that I've rolled back your conversion of content to a redirect; this piece was substantial enough that it needs to run through a standardized community deletion process (PROD or AfD) rather than being unilaterally put to the sword. I share your belief it is not gonna pass GNG, mind you; I only differ with the process used here. best, —tim //// Carrite (talk) 19:51, 28 October 2019 (UTC)
He did not tell the person he reverted, or all the people in the AFD he forced that person to create, the real reason he was interfering with their attempt to beneficially edit the encyclopedia.

A lie by omission. The very worst kind of lie. Not unlike keeping from a potential sexual partner pertinent information like the fact you have the AIDS. And not the good kind either. Or more aptly in his case, the bird flu. Bad bird flu. One of the American mutated strains, what with all their chlorine and shit.

As he said himself, he wanted the article deleted or redirected. And yet he stopped someone unilaterally redirecting it and forced them to run it through an AfD to hopefully come to the exact same outcome, because he wanted to win this internet argument, and hopefully win the bet he offered.

When he said process is important, when he said this article was big enough to require a "community process", when he repeated that process was important even in the face of skepticism from the person he was deceiving with his lies, he was himself lying. Through his teeth, or should I say beak.

You can tell, because he flatly refused to answer me when I asked what policy or guideline he was invoking to justify his actions.

All of this is stuff a serious Wikipedia critic would know and accept as inarguable fact, or at the very least, offer reasons why it is wrong. All I hear, is the chirping of crickets. Or rather, the clucking of poultry.

I showed class when I offered the mea culpa for my incorrect prediction. Timmy showed no class by suggesting I wouldn't, based on an obvious one which suggests I never have. I would never do him a disservice like that. I make it my business to know what he does, what he is likely to do, and therefore tailor my responses accordingly. I know he'll tuck his tail and run here, or stay only to sputter and vituperate, hence my response is a victory dance. Entirely appropriate. I could do worse.

Timmy did this to himself. I gave him every chance, he declined every one, because there's only ever been one chicken in this thread. The Bad Wikipedian.

He should think himself lucky I didn't do what some would have done given the same opportunity, some of the horrible people that post here now, and certainly many of the people that claim to be running the preeminent critic forum Timmy calls home. They'd have created a Wikipedia account just to alert the Wikipedians to his deception. I prefer to sit back and let him show his true colours, and he did so, carrying on the deception to the very end. Imagine all those good edits that didn't get done, because Timmy is that guy. The Bad Wikipedian.

This was never about the article, not for me. This is about exposing the Wikipedians for what they are. Something Wikipediocracy is too afraid to do for certain editors, and too incompetent or corrupt to do for others. I take no prisoners. Timmy knows, or he should have known, that what we have here is not friendship, just friendly rivalry. We kid, we joke, but if he leaves his neck exposed, I'm gonna deliver the cold steel at lightning speed. Speaking metaphorically, of course.

But I do like him. This is why I was more than fair here. Accepting his apparent gambling addiction, I made it perfectly clear, I would accept his wager if he accepted the condition he tell the innocent Wikipedians the truth, be completely transparent about his postings here, regarding this matter, so they might make more informed decisions. He declined. Wanted to keep the deck stacked. Didn't think he could win if his true motives were known.

I can understand why people not quite up to speed on how to do serious criticism might see this as bullying, but I can no more bully Timmy than a scientist can bully the contents of his Petri dishes or cages. He is a lab rat to me. He played his role, and I have my results. On such things, glittering careers are made. Sadly this is not a place that appreciates this sort of work anymore. More of a Wikipediocracy type venue now. Fuck. That. Shit.

As always, my critics are either ill-informed, misguided, or simply jealous of my success.

So if you don't mind, I'll just stand here and enjoy the moment. 8-)

I'm not touching myself. Honest.

Oh, and as I think I said before, I would rather give money to ISIS than a dog or cat shelter. At least the former is an example of giving people gainful employment in a career with realistic career advancement. The latter, well, they're people who actually like dogs and cats. Freaks.
