It's pointless to worry about ANY Wikiquote project. They are all failures, and they are all little-used. Consider some of the shit you can find on English Wikiquote.
They have a good selection of quotes from actual famous thinkers. What they SHOULD have. All well and fine.

But they also have equal-or-greater mountains of "quotes" from pop-culture crap. Cleverly written as it may be, since when is the TV show Supernatural of "great cultural importance"?

It finally tapers off after that. Almost all of the Supernatural crap is courtesy of Allixpeeke.

And look at this.

Who?
All of the above was taken straight off the front page of Wikiquote. It can NOT be used as an "index".
You can thank longtime WQ administrator Kalki for a lot of this crazy shit, along with an assortment of IP addresses and random accounts. He "protects" the good and the crappier content. I think he's some kind of "discordian" hippie crackpot with plenty of free time. Loves Tolkien. So of course WQ also has a ton of Tolkien.

Wikiquote is saturated with nerd garbage. It's good you don't have to go thru the garbage to get the important content....unless you're stupid, and use the front page as an index.....
