It's been a while since I found a hoax "worthy" of inclusion here. But this one's RAW.

Michael K. Williams, famous TV actor, died. And musician Saul Williams posted the existence of an unnoticed Wikipedia hoax on both of their BLPs. (No, they were not related.)

From a 2007 revision:
Williams has a distinctive scar that nearly bisects his face. He received the scar in a barroom brawl on his birthday and credits it with helping to launch his acting career.[4] Williams is the brother of poet, musician, and actor Saul Williams.[5]
