Beeblebrox ponders the state of the Commons

Post by Jake Is A Sellout » Fri Apr 09, 2021 1:05 am

I for one am glad Wikipediocracy has banned all the serious critics, in favour of kissing Wikipedian ass.

It has led to super useful threads like this......

https://wikipediocracy.com/forum/viewto ... 14&t=11929

Not a genuine query, obviously, but in his desire to troll a sister project, Beeblebrox has only served to illuminate his true self.

For it beggars belief that a die-hard Wikishit like Beeblebrox still doesn't know why Commons has a resource problem.

Commons has never taken off like Wikipedia, because there's none of the same instant gratification that a dopamine freak like Beebletits gets from being a Wikishit. You edit a Wikipedia article, your half-assed attempt at being a clever boy is right there at the top Google result. You upload any image to Commons, and you're lucky if it's even in the first page of results, even if it's the world's best image of something super-educational.

The only gratification ever to be had from Commons, is to add your uploads to a Wikipedia article, and even then, it's always been a bit of a phyrric victory, since Wikipedia has never really been bothered about giving credit or otherwise acknowledging the hard work of a Commons photographer or the rich resources to be found at that sister project.

The reality is, the die hard Wikishits never wanted Commons to be an independent project. This is in large part because their racist white man's view of the world cannot really see a practical need for having one single media host which can serve images to different language Wikipedias, or indeed, SHOCK HORROR, have a nominally independent utility to the world that's completely separate from Wikipedia.

In their Amercian-Imperialist world view, bearing in mind Beeblewank is a US citizen residing in a territory no white man has any business even being in, if there needs to be a single host at all, it should be the original, the best, the most developed and sophisticated Wikipedia, the US-uk Wikipedia. All the other Wikipedias from the shtihole countries, should get their images from their colonial masters, and probably have to do their own translation work too, because people like Beeblebrox got better things to do than translating their content so it can be used globally.

Scum like Beeblebrox are very representative of the white Wikipedian attitude to their global media host sister project and the people who call it home. They have for years, maligned them and insulted them and even accused them of being child pornographers. All based on groundless myths and propaganda, often posted by Wikishits on Wikipediocracy, as if that place has any role to play in their civil wars. Jake has allowed it for years, firstly because he's an arse, but also because he's not all that informed about what goes on at any project except Wikipedia. Why? Consider his user base. Commons people are too busy doing their actual work, they don't have time to goof off like Beebledork and gossip about ther enemies or rant a out their pet peeves on Wikipediocracy .

Assholes like Beeblebrox are at the top of the list when thinking of Wikipedia users who have supported things like the {Keep local} template, which by design, cuts Commons out of the loop entirely, and by extension, then even deprives other language Wikipedias from using that same image.

So yeah, for these, and many other reasons, I suspect there's going to be nobody at Commons who gives a flying fuck what Beeblebrox thinks of how long they take to close a CFD, or how they go about promoting admins, especially given his chosen venue for airing this pseudo-criticism. The principle of community self-governance works both ways.

If not even the rest of the global movement is allowed a say on whether or not the Arbitration Committee dropped the ball in failing to recognise what a creep Fram is, then why should a member of that very Committee have a single say on anything to do with Commons?

And if the assholes at Wikipedocracy who think sucking Beeblebrox's dick is a worthwhile critic activity, they might want to ponder how long it takes Wikipedia to process copyright investigations. Last time I looked, "yeah guv, give us a year or five and we'll check that out for you" was considered an acceptable way to enforce that policy with legal Implications.

as usual, Vigina is wrong--Commons is its own sick little dump. Not many of the admins were ever "kicked out of Wikipedia".

Scow is right:
And the most active of those people are massively butthurt and immovably bitter. The rest are people who only care about keeping as much pr0n as possible.
Don't start me on Commons nerds posting genitals and pederastic crap. We would be here for weeks.

The FIRST TWO IMAGES ever posted to Commons:

(Node_ue later started a huge war over the creation of a Moldovan language Wikipedia. Which is stupid because Moldovans speak Romanian. And he isn't even qualified--Mark Williamson is a deeply ADHD language nerd from Arizona. Knows almost no Romanian. He continues to grind WP content on various languages in his usual highly erratic manner. Behold the "Good Wikipedian".)
