Used to assist fraud is somehow not a valid reason to delete something from Wikipedia?

What the fuck?

Someone contacted Wikipedia and said something along the lines of, oh, hai guys, just to let you know, we caught someone using your high resolution image of a bank cheque to engage in some kind of fraud, and we think maybe you would like to do something nice for society and not host it anymore?

Rather incredibly, the Wikipedia volunteers declined to delete it, because this apparently doesn't qualify as a good reason to delete something. And so the Wikimeda Foundation had to step in and do what it is famous for, and act as the adult in the room, deleting the image using their special WE RULE ALL powers that the Wikipedia editors seem to always forget that they have, now and forever more. So eat it, little bitches.

Wikipediocracy's take on this of course is to simply shriek about this "questionable" deletion, because what the fuck else would you expect from a forum run for senior Wikipedia editors?

And when I thought wikipedia couldn't be worse. Then they manage to outdo themselves.
