WP:NONAZIS essay
The essay, which has been enforced as policy, now has a section for non-endorsers.
Suddenly a lot of controversy on the Talk Page.

The essay has become somewhat of a honeypot leading to at least one boomerang block:First they came for the Nazis
How about Zionists next?
Did God really give them that land or the United Nations,
are Palestinians in concentration camps?
Is criticism of Israel antisemetic.
Where do these WP:THOUGHTCRIME end?
If “racists” and Nazis don’t use reliable sources or follow policy, they get banned.
Why are there Laws against Holocaust denial, what are they afraid of?
[[Trump derangement syndrome|Why don’t we block Trump supporters]]?
We should be skeptical and open minded not WP:BIGOT!

Re: WP:NONAZIS essay
Our favorite mentally ill Wikipedian is all over this entry
Britannica avoids the subject of "American what-ever-it-ism" entirely;
https://www.britannica.com/topic/neo-Nazism
https://www.britannica.com/event/Nazism ... ent=Nazism
"American what-ever-it-ism" - shares some elements with Britannica NAZIsm.
- anti-intellectual
- atheoretical (not concerned with fact or theory)
- vision
Wikipedia shares all three aforementioned elements, and so does our whole divided society at the moment.
"American what-ever-it-ism" covers allot of basis, is really dangerous, has been bleeding into the mainstream, has ties to libertarian-ism - and unfortunately will be amplified and energized by all those who are trying to stomp it down via edit-warring, shadow banning, and censoring.
What is more crazy and dangerous
---a society according to Tamzin (young reactionary folks)
---a society of fascist liber-tards (older folks hankering back to a past that never was)
There is no point speaking to policy, facts, or whatever. It's all very "stonkey" and we are just on the cusp of a multi-year crisis that might shake some of this nonsense out.
Wikipedia does not frame neo-nazi's correctly - Wikipedia is, according to their own statistics," 99.83% wrong.Editors don't want to work with editors who want them killed, enslaved, deported, or raped. -- Tamzin[cetacean needed]
And a bunch of crazy people just below the shiny veneer of "respectability."The essay, which has been enforced as policy, now has a section for non-endorsers.

Re: WP:NONAZIS essay
Another honeypot boomerang trap:
For the sake of posterity, this user has continued to make disruptive edits in wikitalk space which may run afoul of policy, e.g. "American Liberalism since the Trump era has become just as vengeful and warring as neo-Nazi or other genocidal groups" at WP:No Nazis. [2]. This is in the setting of an ongoing discussion about how the "non-endorsers" list on that essay is a great honey pot to locate editors who will likely become disruptive in the near future. This is nothing if not a great example of that phenomenon. @Zero0000@Doug Weller@Jpgordon Do I think the edit I linked is a blockable offense? No, probably not. But do I think it's extremely on-the-nose? Yes.

Re: WP:NONAZIS essay
Tamzin outed MJPANTS, on his own essay’s Talk Page, with this edit:
https://intersect-contribs.toolforge.or ... 5D=&sort=0
MJPANTS is HappyMcSlappy:@HappyMcSlappy: I'm all for allowing a clean start, but having the same argument with me twice, a year apart, on two different accounts, is kind of pushing the "clean" part, don't you think? -- Tamzin[cetacean needed] (she|they|xe) 23:48, 15 August 2022 (UTC)

Re: WP:NONAZIS essay
Israel critics have always been targets on Wikipedia. Even on other language Wikipedias (other than the Arabic ones). Because Israel promoters have been fooling around on most of them. CAMERA is still in business, and NGO Monitor is still in business. Still pushing their angry pro-Israel, media-attacking, "how dare you criticize us" bias online.First they came for the Nazis

Still editing Wikipedia? They will NEVER admit it today, after this was started in 2008, and repeatedly updated since then. They learned to keep the profile down. Doesn't mean they walked away--they can't.

BTW: that argument on Jimbotalk was from 2020. One of an endless number of tiresome squabbles therein.SkepticalHistorian wrote: ↑Mon Aug 15, 2022 7:00 pmThe essay, which has been enforced as policy, now has a section for non-endorsers.

ANYTHING that makes a Wikipedian unhappy is "hate speech". Should be obvious by now. Tamzin is the rule and not the exception. Once again: I fully expect that Tamzin will generate one screaming match too many, and suddenly be tossed like a (genderqueer?) salad.

Well, it looks like there is an initiative to use Wikipedia as a "teaching tool." Perhaps Tamzin should become an associate professor.
Gender and Technoculture --
Most broadly, this course looks at the ways in which our technologically mediated world influences our understanding of gender.
For this assignment, students will be making contributions to Wikipedia specifically designed to correct the well-documented gender, heterosexual, white, and Western bias in this extremely influential resource.

Re: WP:NONAZIS essay
This is clever: the “Nazi Bar Problem” (“And then [the polite Nazis] bring friends and the friends bring friends and they stop being cool and then you realize, oh shit, this is a Nazi bar now”)
“Nazi punks, FUCK OFF!” — Dead Kennedys# One could make the "we shouldn't ban people for their beliefs argument", but that's not a position Wikipedia has had for a very long time. Wikipedia has been banning pedophiles and suspected pedophiles on the spot since around 2007 for the simple reason they cause more problems than they solve; this should be extended to include racists and other extremists who tend to not have the [[WP:COMPETENCE]] to edit the Wikipedia in a neutral manner. There is also the entire [https://archive.ph/vlHYp Nazi bar] problem: Places which do ''not'' kick out fascists soon become spaces dominated by fascists.
