Again, this will never end, until WP either falls apart from internal battles, or is locked down to keep the "rabble" from editing anything. I would not take ANY bets on when that happens. Because the WMF has an ocean of money, and millions more every year, thanks to endless begging for donations. Keeping it in this state of constant chaos doesn't really cost very much--most WMF expenditures go to salaries, promotion, software diddling, Wikimania, and stupid half-baked "projects for the good of the community".
Even god can't help them if Section 230 is removed or amended so the WMF has to directly moderate users themselves. THAT would cut down on all editing very quickly.
WP has a strong dose of the same nazi-namecalling we see elsewhere online. It's the cheapest shot imaginable: don't like someone? Point at them and scream NAZINAZINAZI over and over. Both the left AND the right are doing this in the US and UK, and not just on Wikimedia projects; and it is occurring elsewhere.
