And yet another "twitter files" type article;

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia ... uspensions

Notice the difference; this time around the Wikipedia hoopleheads were prepared to restrict access to the afd discussion lest they get mobbed again.
Lol, Musk is onto it:

And the AfD is mobbed, longer than the article

The semi-protect discussion (half of the afd discussion was blanked never to return)

haw haw haw.....what I was gonna post (some trivial Youtuber's AFD) is NOTHING compared to this shit.

You were right: admins and assorted "insane denizens" are removing a considerable amount of text/raging from the AFD and from its talkpage. Have a couple of famous wiki-dickheads (who both just happen to be trans) editwarring:
curprev 04:23, 18 December 2022‎ Tamzin talk contribs‎ 9,022 bytes +9,007‎ Undid revision 1128056023 by LilianaUwU (talk) a number of these comments are good-faith opinions on the merits of the page. you're welcome to remove specific comments that violate WP:NOTFORUM—keeping in mind that "NOTFORUM violation" is not the same thing as "bad opinion" undo Tag: Undo

curprev 04:06, 18 December 2022‎ LilianaUwU talk contribs‎ 15 bytes −9,007‎ enough of this BS undo Tags: Replaced Reverted
Whether they like it or not, it became "notable"....right-wing outlets are most interested (OF COURSE)

Side note: I'm told that a LOT of Wikipedians and former WMF employees ended up working at Twitter. And I suspect most of them are out of a job right now thanks to Musk. So you can expect more piss-n-rage drivel to pile up in Category:Elon Musk in the near future. They already have Views of Elon Musk to go crazy on. It recently got a "Wikipedia" section, showing clearly that criticizing Wikipedia will result in Wikipedians trying to piss on your head. On Wikipedia.

None of this would have happened if so damn many journalists weren't watching Twitter obsessively. For something to "report". Allegedly.

Since much of the Musk content in the past was heavily controlled by Musk fanboys, this will be a major change in WP content tone.

He almost (but NOT QUITE) made them forget about Trump.

Trans or not: HIRE LUNATICS AT YOUR OWN RISK.

This photo of Musk with Jared Kushner (Trump's son-in-law) at a World Cup game is on the front page of Reddit right now. And it has been reposted dozens of times, in dozens of subreddits.

The terminally-online angry (and often under 30) left wants to "cancel" Musk so badly, they can taste it in their feet. Lotsa luck.

WTF?
Twitter Users Vote for Elon Musk to Step Down as CEO - About 58% of the 17.5 million votes cast were in favor of exit
The Elon trolling machine intentionally courts public and customer support in the self reinforcing propaganda of abject nonsense. The only obligation of a customer is to purchase and pay for a product - now we are finding that "customers" have been transmuted into Moonies by the will of Landru!
Landru : The good of the body is the prime directive. Landru : You will be absorbed. Your individuality will merge into the unity of good, and in your submergence into the common being of the body, you will find contentment, fulfillment.
Even though we are deceived, still believe. ... The whole world is in my hand, and I will conquer and subjugate the world. ...
If you tell a lie to make a person better, then that is not a sin. Sun Myung Moon

Already stuck into the "Acquisition of Twitter by Elon Musk" article, earlier today. Good chance there will be a separate article shortly. Which will immediately attract open warfare and AFD attempts.

No matter if Musk actually quits the CEO job or not; the screaming will continue.

I hate to give credit where none is due;

Tesla = Public company
Twitter = Private company
Chinese Firewall needed so never the twain will mix or meet.

It pains me to mention this but Elizabeth Warren, in her own search for headlines, picked up on the conflict of interest and the illegality of the same;

https://www.cnbc.com/2022/12/19/sen-war ... itter.html

My father married a pure Cherokee
My mother's people were ashamed of me
The indians said that I was white by law
The White Man always called me "Indian Squaw"
The college admission man said check the box!
"Give her a feather, she's a Cherokee"
Half-breed, that's all I ever heard

How about Musk takes on (trolls) Wikipedia - there are lots of reliable sources on that topic; enough for an article; perhaps emilio mole and his socks will create an article (he is now able to create articles it seems)

The news is anything you want it to be!

Or "House sends the Trump files to the DOJ for prosecution!" WTF record-screech and a second record-screech. The congress of the United States is not a grand jury! And the DOJ is part of the executive branch, not the judicial branch. The news forgot that process is based on the mamoration of the states clause - which makes it clear that the ex-ec-umitive, dis-integrator, and jum-i-dical branches have separate roles and powers. The press would have none of that.
