I'd say a fair few Wikipedians have tendencies toward sexual attraction to or interest in minors. The project's whole approach to age and explicit content is just creepy as fuck. And Wikipedians In general, they hardly strike me as people capable of forming normal healthy relationships, but are definitely lonely enough to want to approximate it by taking advantage of a minor if they think they can get away with it.
And where can you meet minors who share your interests and where there is nobody monitoring your interactions? Wikipedia of course. All outsiders ever see on Wikipedia are two anonymous avatars interacting, and there is little to no obvious guidance let alone warnings to instruct a minor that they should categorically not engage in off wiki communications with their on wiki "friends". It is left to minors to just somehow intuitively know this. Not Wikipedia's problem at all. Not even with Wikipedia tacitly endorsing the use of off wiki channels like IRC and Discord, especially if you want to be part of the in-crowd and aspire to levels of responsibility that feel very mature, which is naturally where minors want to be
In the minds of Wikipedia's defenders and enablers, their extremely passive approach to such things carries no significant risk at all, whereas a Wikipedia article about paedophilia having a link to a paedophiles blog carries a very real risk of a minor coming into contact with a paedophile! Bollocks. It's virtue signalling at best, criminal negligence at worst (knowingly not addressing forseeable risks).
On the flip side, anyone who makes comments like these, are probably also closet paedophiles....
Call them what they are: Child rapists.

"Minor attracted person" is the same type of shitty language as "had sex with underage girls". I'm with Vig on this one, these people are rapists and should be treated as rapists.

Wikipedia and Wikipedians are of course the last people you would expect to make the mistake of conflating a thought with a crime, or for advocating the death penalty. But here they are, doing it for paedophilia. Massive over compensation methinks.
As you would expect from Wikipedians, there's other general weirdness that suggests these people aren't really normal humans who live in the real world at all....
"Minor-attracted person" suggests that paedophiles find children attractive in a similar way to everyday folk. A more accurate description using plain English words would be "person who lusts after children".
It's not accurate at all, since it suggests that an eighteen year old having "lust" for a seventeen year old is as evil as a fifty year old having "lust" for a seven year old.
On related note, I'm not happy that Wikipedia's article on Pedophilia (T-H-L) defines somebody as no longer being pre-pubescent at 13, cited to a single source - Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders Text Revision by the American Psychiatric Association (T-H-L). There is no way on earth my kids had grown up enough to understand sexual attraction at that age.
Most normal people understand that being "pubescent" does not equate to understanding sexual attraction or being grown up.
Wikipedia is for paedophiles in the same way Facebook is for kooks. They say they aren't, but in their deeds, their responses to known risks, they really are. And I may even be being a little unkind to Facebook there!
