Just from checking his contributions: he's a Czech Jew who lives in Baltimore. What a surprise.
What's REALLY surprising is that he has not been editwarring the usual Israel-Palestine content that Zionists like to fight over. Instead he's off in the corner (in Baltimore), little noticed.

Supposedly (from his userboxes), he claims to be pro-Palestine. But upon seeing your post, I think he might using it as a way of reducing the scrutiny on his pro-Israel edits.
