Yes, ANOTHER tv show on streaming that Wikipedia had never heard of. Routine.
Screenshot_2021-02-07 The Snoopy Show at DuckDuckGo.png
Considering that there are quite lot on the Penuts on wikipedia its surprise this is not mentioned at al on https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peanuts_filmography and doesn't have its own article. However I have learned one thing never traust wikipeda when it comes to listings on new TV shows, or films. Why? Because information on those new shows and films are oft hard to find until they are actually released. I have seen it many times with TV shows that new show have had episode listed for a future boardcast only for said episodes titles to be deleted with each subquent airing as those titles were complete made up.

However IMDB is pretty good when it comes to mainstream films and new releases but my problem with IMDB is almost the polar opposite with wikipedia manly the fact that old, rare and obscure stuff is not listed on IMDB.

Okay, if Maurice "Mo" Pinel was so important in the history of bowling ball development, why is there NO mention of him anywhere on Wikipedia?

Since 2008 articles about Suelyn Medeiros have been created and deleted. Over and over and over. It seems her longtime connection to notorious lunatic businessman Peter Nygard counts for nothing.

She has an IMDB entry. No one cares.

There may be others but any direct links have disappeared.

GOOD NEWS! (?)

That slimy fat fuck Michael "Binksternet" Knowles is WATCHING THIS FORUM. Because yesterday he created an article about Pinel. Even used a couple of the links I posted here.

All that mush-mouthing about Wikipedia's poor representation of prominent women, and attempts to run "edit-a-thons" to improve the coverage. Yet there is NOTHING about a female pioneer of television broadcasting, Thelma A. Prescott. She was not mentioned in most television histories, because her first work was only on RCA's early, poorly-documented experimental broadcasts in New York in 1939.

From Radio Craft magazine, May 1939:

Thanks to the general stupidity and ahistorical tendencies of the internet Thelma is difficult to google. You will have to go into archive.org's newspaper and magazine archives to text-search for her name. There were some mentions of her in Variety after the war.

Even her more-prominent husband doesn't get good coverage.

There's an article about the Deseret Power Railway, an obscure single-purpose railroad in the middle of nowhere.

But you get only red links for the two customers of the Deseret Power Railway: the Bonanza Power Plant (one of the last operating coal-fired power plants in the southwest), and the mine that produces its coal. And it's not as if you can't find plenty of references about the controversy of allowing Bonanza to keep operating. Coal is a dying industry and for good reason.

https://www.abqjournal.com/625021/navaj ... -plan.html
https://www.gjsentinel.com/news/western ... 156ff.html

Considerable historical info about Bonanza is here:
https://mleainc.com//Documents/Moon%20L ... 20Book.pdf (see pages 68-71)

Wikipedia also has nothing about the Bonanza plant's primary customer, the Moon Lake Electric Association. Moon Lake feeds a massive chunk of eastern Utah and part of western Colorado.

The railway is as-usual IMPORTANT to Wiki-rail-nerds, dammit. But coal power plants are Wiki-baaad so let's pretend they don't exist, eh.

I suppose you could accuse them of racism, because the plant is on Ute tribal land and the tribe is a major beneficiary of its operations. Perhaps THAT would embarrass them into doing something.

Because it's called "Bonanza", I have to post the following:

Still "Globally Banned" on Wikipedia for the high crime of journalism.

Richard Tingler, yes seriously. Apparently a mass/spree killer from around my neck of the woods, around the time i was born. I only heard of him because mom mentioned him, and i thought she was joking (because of the name) but nope, he killed six people.

Hah, excellent point. Murderpedia contains literally dozens of murder cases that Wikipedia does not even bother to list anywhere. News coverage, even historical coverage, of such crimes is NOT difficult to find. So they can't use the "reliable sources" crap to pretend this is not valid content.

Another one I found at random. The "Nut Squad murders" in Oakland, which I clearly remember as a BIG deal in bay area news in 2003:
https://murderpedia.org/male.R/r/ralls-demarcus.htm

Meanwhile, if a white cop kills a black man in 2020 (producing a media shitstorm and protests), Wikipedia dweebs obsess over it. All of these categories and articles are riddled with sockpuppet accounts notorious for leftist content. I keep seeing "Another Believer" all over this space. Other people are killed by police every year; where are their gigantic collections of categories and articles, most of which nobody apart from Wiki-Nerds even reads? Oh, of course, most of them happened BEFORE WIKIPEDIA EXISTED. Thus did not happen.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category: ... orge_Floyd
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category: ... d_protests
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category: ... by_country
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category: ... s_by_state

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category: ... d_protests
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category: ... orge_Floyd

"Wikipedia is NOTNEWS" my ass. Wikipedia coverage is directly proportional to the size of the present-day media circus. TODAY'S outrage is everything, 50 years ago is nothing. Even ten years ago is far less important than TODAY.

So.....Where is the Tamir Rice category? Where is the Philando Castile category?

You see any red links here? Not me....they have time to write an article for each one of these RECENT crimes, but can't be arsed to scrape someplace like Murderpedia for older ones?
