Articles Wikipedia should have--but doesn't.

Good, bad, biased, paid or what-have-you. There's an endless supply.

A developing political hellstorm Wikipedia knows nothing about AND YOU SAW IT HERE FIRST:

There is a very quiet attempt to reactivate the disintegrating Northwestern Pacific Railroad--by coal mining companies in Wyoming trying to sell their Powder River coal to Asian customers. The last train reached Eureka in 1998, and since then large chunks of the Eel River canyon section of track have been destroyed by landslides and earthquakes and floods.

This idiot blogger hiked the canyon in 2014. Since then, even more sections have been destroyed.

It was never a good, safe place to build a railroad, but tell that to people in 1905. Restoring it for heavy freight traffic will cost billions of dollars. The authority, and most local people, would rather turn it into a nice hiking trail. But federal law (and $$$$$$$$$$$) might interfere. In the past this coal would have been loaded onto ships in SF Bay area ports but today they would "object strongly" to the "toxic shipments". So this is an "end run". Apparently by a shell company that doesn't belong to "anyone".

https://www.pressdemocrat.com/article/n ... oal-train/

Personally I think this is an insane idea. The NWR handled a lot of freight during the 20th century, mostly lumber and wood products. It was always a costly rail line to keep in operation. But this plan is just bonkers. Coal is dying anyway. A very low-quality, dirty, and costly fuel to ship.
Rep. Jared Huffman doesn’t think so. In a conversation with the Outpost on Wednesday, the congressman said he’d spent the previous 24 hours “basically nonstop on this,” investigating who’s behind the effort and what they’re after. The answer, he said, is coal companies in league with the Crow Tribe in Montana.
You won't find anything about coal mining in Crow people. Why?

The current president has no such article, despite being a politician for about fifty years: en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Veracity_of_statements_by_Joe_Biden&action=edit&redlink=1.
I can beat that easily....Bernie Sanders had a long political career, marked by numerous failures. Even the people in Vermont who voted for him tend to think he is a "fringe" leftist. But everything he's ever done is carefully and lovingly documented on Wikipedia. Even the people who worked on his failed presidential campaigns get articles.

Editwarred like crazy in 2016 and again in 2020. Most of the major editors were either nuts, or sockpuppets of nuts. Plus Northamerica1000, formerly known as "A Nobody", one of the most bonkers administrators I have ever seen (don't start me on him). The article is tagged for non-neutrality. Why does it exist at all?

Where's the article about Maryland politician Andrew Bradshaw? He's a Republican, and "Wiki hates Republicans" (well, usually). Normally they would jump all over this item. Too busy bitching each other out or posting comic-book crap?

Is this enough goddamn references for you?

https://www.nytimes.com/2021/11/16/us/r ... Position=1

Local media is "tiptoeing" around this story.
https://www.myeasternshoremd.com/dorche ... e0452.html

Note that he put the "revenge porn" on r/needysluts, one of those rotten subreddits that Reddit really does NOT need. It's not rotten because of porn, but because people abuse it in order to abuse each other. I predict needysluts will disappear soon. Bradshaw's sock accounts all disappeared along with their posts, already and AS USUAL. "Reddit is a happy place! Nothing bad ever happens here!" etc.

Also, this likely-paid bio was posted on one of their buried AFC sections back in July, and refused due to "lack of notability"......HE'S NOTABLE NOW, ASSHOLES.

Wikipedia has nothing about the McCrary-Taylor murders. I know the inevitable excuse the fuckers will vomit up: "you can't google it therefore it didn't happen".

IT HAPPENED. AND NOW YOU CAN GOOGLE IT.

https://www.oxygen.com/true-crime-buzz/ ... ly-murders
https://www.yahoo.com/now/children-seri ... 00678.html

When Sherman McCrary kiiled himself in prison in Colorado in 1988, the newswires carried it. There were other news reports over the years. But Wikipedia has no idea.

Wikipedia has a case of amnesia, dementia, or Alzheimer's when it comes to Chin Ho Kelly. The selective memory of Wikipedia is such that anything that takes place in the present is very very important; anything that happened in the past.. well.

As you can see the Chin Ho Kelly, in the prehistoric pre-internet and cell phones way back time of the late 1960's and 70's hardly exists.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chin_Ho_Kelly
Wikipedia - "Barely competent and paranoid. There’s a hell of a combination."
