First Strelnikov sends me this.
....Because /Star Warz SEVEN: The Cashgrab Continuuze/ is coming out of Friday, these motherfuckers are talking about this:

Turns out the Web 1.0 world was driven mad by rumors of /Star Wars: Episode I/ bullshit in the late 1990s cranked out by the anonymous "SuperShadow", who mixed real scoops in with pure horseshit, including the story that things had to be re-shot because the camera was out of focus (!).
My response
Yes I remember that particular bullshit. Sockpuppetry, anonymity, baldfaced lies. It would not be surprising to learn that "SuperShadow" is now an administrator on Wikipedia. Or maybe 3 or 4 different administrators. In real life he's probably a 300-pound white nerd in a wheelchair, inventing online hoaxes while grinding violent FPS games. And gobbling Adderall.
So further poking around....
Yes, SuperShadow tried to create an article on Wikipedia about himself in 2005. And failed. And of course he tried to sockpuppet the AFD. Unfortunately the histories are lost, not that it matters much.

Dramatica doesn't have a SuperShadow article anymore but they do have an old photo which may or may not be the real guy. Their Wookieepedia article rants about him occasionally. Even ED has almost forgotten about this nobody.
