Sslivers

This graceless moron is typical of Wikipedia's roving gangs of shitlords. Sorry, eminent content creators.

In furtherance of a pathetic a dispute with Andy Mabbett over whether or not Featured Article George Robey can mention he had a pub renamed in his honour, we were treated to a fine display of shitlordery from Ssilvers. The involvement of Cassianto and SchroCat of course helped sour proceedings, as they stunk the place out with their own brand of shitlordery. Most likely all three are deliberately ganging up on Andy to simply scare him away from their article, but that wouldn't be newsworthy behaviour.

First, Ssilvers came out with this nonsense......
Whether the naming of the pub is of encyclopedic importance depends on the prominence of the pub. Do you have any sources that support the pub's being a famous institution; perhaps it was a really important venue? The fact that the pub no longer exists certainly *does* diminish the likelihood of its being of encyclopedic importance.
Clearly he has never met Drmies, who would no doubt educate him on what he regularly casts as official Wikipedia policy, but whose actual status as stuff he made up one day, actually suffices as a good rule of thumb in a case like this - encyclopedic importance is demonstrated by something being noted in a reliable secondary source. Which it was. For obvious reasons to anyone who has ever lived in London or visited a pub, or is just English full stop.

Not satisfied with Andy meeting this ridiculous demand by making it clear "it was a high-profile venue in a prominent location", Sslivers asked again, to see "the sources stating that it was a prominent, important venue".

Naturally pissed off at being taken for an idiot, as he regularly is now he is well known as the Official Wikipedia Village Idiot by assorted power users, Andy went one better than that, and bitch slapped him with a brand new article on it.

Reference number one being......

In true shitlord style, he didn't say thankyou, or express any kind of gratitude, much less express remorse for this extraordinary display of obstructionist bullshit. He just carried on being a dick......
Shouldn't the name of this article include the word "pub"? -- Ssilvers (talk) 18:13, 4 May 2018 (UTC)
Shouldn't you have been terminated in the womb?

(for anyone wondering, the obvious answer, one he must be aware of, is no - and if he genuinely didn't know, which he does, the answer is freely available for him in the very article Andy produced to satisfy his first dumb query)
