Good, bad, biased, paid or what-have-you. There's an endless supply.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Breast_physics

Created by Sandstein in February of this year, because god knows why. Gamer nerds must have harassed him to create it.
And it was editwarred and protected on July 27 for one reason: it made the front page of Reddit.

Any chemist on earth will tell you that esters are extremely important to modern life, and not just as artificial flavors. All kinds of things use esters as ingredients. But the articles for individual esters in the table are all over the place; some are really good, some are barely adequate, and some are like this.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ethyl_isovalerate

And about 20% of them are not on English Wikipedia--AT ALL. Why?

If you want to learn more about esters, you'll be far better off going to the NIH's PubChem database.

And if we have to talk about crap, WP now has an "essay" about it.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Crap

written in 2012 by insane addict editor Darkness Shines, who is a possible candidate for adminship in coming months (despite being a total dick). He tried an RFA already and flopped, so he ground like a robot until 2014 and then cut back. Articles about mass murders make him hard. Does this look like a "quality Wikipedian" to you?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lionel_Corporation
By 1991, the chain had regrown to 100 stores and was the fourth-largest toy retailer in the country, but it once again ran into trouble[clarification needed] due to a combination of factors. In 1989, Robert I. Toussie L.P., a partnership of several retail executives, attempted to buy the company. Lionel resisted and the fight drained the company of cash. Meanwhile, non-specialty discount stores expanded their toy sections and undercut the prices of specialty toy chains.[18] Additionally, Lionel found it difficult to compete on price with the larger Toys "R" Us, and it attempted to expand too rapidly in a weakened economy.[19] After a string of unprofitable quarters, it filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy on June 14, 1991. In 1992, Lionel again tried to reverse its fortunes by merging with the bankrupt Child World, the United States' #3 toy retailer, but was unable to secure financing.[20] By February 1993, Lionel had closed all but 29 stores in six states, concentrating on the markets of Philadelphia, central New Jersey, Baltimore, Washington, D.C., Cleveland, and south Florida.[21] Unable to reach an agreement for reorganization with its creditors, on June 2, 1993, Lionel announced its intention to liquidate all of its stores and go out of business. The Lionel trademarks were purchased by Richard Kughn, a Detroit real estate magnate who had bought the Lionel product line from General Mills in 1986. See Lionel, LLC.

Which leads us to the terrible and incoherent article
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lionel,_LLC

which company is still in business
http://www.lionel.com/
Presumably most of their products come from China.

How Wikipedia science content fails:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lysianassidae

It has existed since 2006 and the list of species was added in 2012. All but two are red links. Almost no useful information otherwise. I see this routinely.

He is odious, always pushing weaker editors around and ganging up on them with others.

Here we have an article that is both crap AND a possible COI.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mykel_Board

Almost entirely written by this dude/thing wayyy back in 2005. Who then disappeared.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:C ... s/Canapkin

There WAS some content there, until idiot patroller and football dweeb Giant Snowman removed it in 2013.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hitchcock,_Oklahoma

Typical American small-town article. Created by a bot and only edited by bots for 10 years, until an IP address dropped a big pile of text from the town's website--without permission of course.

https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?ti ... =618990732

Then a few days ago, some damn fool noticed the copyright violation, removed it, and dropped a huge (and useless because he removed the copyright issue!) warning template there instead.

https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?ti ... =778380595

3 days after that another IP address drops the stuff about the lawsuit. And now this is what Hitchcock is "famous" for. Plus the original references are gone. Nice work, shitheads! (which applies to both the Wikipedians and to the good citizens of Hitchcock)

Perfect proof that Wikipedia is institutionally incapable of dealing with biographies of politically contentious people. Also one of the meanest BLPs I've ever seen.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jack_Posobiec

Mostly the "fine work" of DrFleischman, who is clearly not a doctor and is clearly only on WP to insert leftward bias. Incompetently. I smell a sockpuppet. If he REALLY cared, he'd be organizing voting drives and banging on doors, not diddling the Snowden article and whinging about Jack Posobiec.

Does this look like a "quality Wikipedian" to any of you?
