That sauce is worth it for the bottle.

Company food that nobody can mess up: http://www.homemadeitaliancooking.com/s ... ff-pastry/. Tonight I made two individual servings with lemon dill white sauce instead of the recipe's sauce and a sauteed onion in the spinach filling. The minute I was ready to take the Wellingtons out of the oven the burner element broke and started arcing. That was fun!

What's the use of heat in a sauce if it's an ordeal to taste? Tabasco sauce, green chili sauce, maybe some red chile sauce for enchiladas and other Mexican food.

Best food purchase this year was chili garlic sauce. I never knew what I was missing. The last red pepper flakes I bought are either weak or my taste buds are too aged. No matter how many I put on pizza it never tasted spicy. Problem solved with chili garlic sauce which is also great in pasta salad.
