It is now apparently open season on Jimmy Wales, and instead of ensuring he is entitled to the same respect and indeed policy protection as any other editor, it is the great and the good of the Wikipedia Administrator ranks who are guilty of some of the most blatant attacks you will ever see conducted on Wikipedia. The sight of these cowards kvetching and plotting against their Spiritual Leader on the talk page of the one among them who most covets Jimmy's title and status as Chief Grand PoohBah, is frankly hilarious.
It is a most basic Wikipedia policy that you do not do this. It could not be clearer. They cannot claim ignorance of it, because it would be assumed they are either lying, or are incompetent. Policy says, you either have to have the balls to raise legitimate concerns in a proper venue, or you shut the fuck up. Those are the Rules of the Game. They are their community approved rules of conduct, they are not the Foundation Terms of Use, although the latter obviously have something to say about what is happening here too.
I guess it doesn't matter though, when the people trusted to enforce these rules, are the ones whose cowardice and dishonour leads them to violate them so freely. And you can see why the WMF would not want to be seen to have to be using their Legal Powers to protect Jimmy Wales from some of the most "respected" and "trusted" elements of the scummy volunteers they leave to build and maintain the crap they call an encyclopedia.
It is quite funny indeed that they claim the media doesn't take enough interest in what Jimmy does on Wikipedia. They should be frankly shitting themselves at the thought the Daily Mail might be alerted to this little gang's plots. They found out the identity of Hilbillyholiday pretty easily, and I have half a mind to think that was with the secret help of Jimmy, when he realised what that dude's real agenda was (embarrass Jimmy as well as take down the Mail). Iridescent is easily identified, given what people like us and indeed Jimmy can tell the Mail about their Wikipedia past.
