Quite a contrast between the highs and lows of this guy's long editing career, which has now surely come to a permanent end. I guess the question is, did he just get left behind as the Wikipedia community has grown and matured, or is this just a more unusual example of the sort of long term user lifecycles we are none to familiar with. There are lessons to be learned, either way. The Wikipedia community of course, doesn't do lessons.
