Do not ignore your fellow editors is a core Wikipedia policy, there is no freedom to ignore concerns, certainly not when there is good reason to believe you are being ignored because the user just wants to carry on repeating the same problematic edits. It is absolutely not any kind of Wikipedia policy to put the burden of fixing their mistakes into other editors in that scenario, the policy is to ban the obstinate editor who refuses to listen.
People like this, pathetic white knights (because of course this is about Jess Wade) are an absolute cancer to a collaborative environment where communication is paramount, especially with people you are in disagreement with.
You can ignore your fellow editors only if you exercise the only freedom you actually have on Wikipedia, to walk away entirely. Wade has declared, on Twitter of course, that she is going nowhere.
