No one ever paid any attention to this "AN/I useful idiot" but you can't ignore him. Because he's the principal editor behind some articles dealing with arcane bleeding-edge technologies, like terahertz gap and history of metamaterials.

Been an ADHD nerd Wikipediaoid since 2009. Originally under a different name. People like him use that animated rainbow hummingbird on their userpages NOT because it's cute; oh hell no. It indicates a user who is twitchy, irritatingly, OCD nuts. Probably just a sock account? VERY erratic edit history.

And despite being an obvious professional-level expert in ultra-short RF wavelengths and the related metamaterials, Steve Quinn (probably not a real given name) is also an obvious deletionist patroller and raging Wiki-Stan who has swallowed all the Wiki-Semen and has a deep anal oriented love for Jimbo Wales. That is based partly on his routine attempts to support the resident trolls on noticeboards and arbitrations. And to blindly AFD articles that often show obvious signs of paid editing, but should not be deleted. Stupidly. Over and over. Always screaming DELETE, yet usually failing or backing off. This is NOT a "good content editor". This is a "reliable vote to support the resident little hitlers" and yet another smug "wikilawyer".

And why he stuck his nose into the George Floyd editwarring, and had it punched, is a puzzler. I suspect he is a big police lover--which would follow from his deletionism and erratic vandalism patrolling. And piling onto people like Slugger O'Toole or PeacePeace. Not to mention his blind support for JzG. Quinn clearly knows where the Wiki-turds are floating.

What's the deal with terahertz RF communications? Let this Register article tell you. Despite the dropping price of 100 GHz-plus electronics, the terahertz band is VERY difficult to use in any practical way. However.....
The applications the working group envisage are security, asset tracking, telemedicine for the elderly, gesture control, gaming, and so on, with the higher resolution modes being able to spot things like your rate of respiration, finger position, and body type, potentially around corners or through walls – the same antenna physics that make EHF a contender for real-life long-distance links means the old assumption that it'll be effectively shielded by walls no longer holds.
In other words, the "authorities" see an invasive technology possibly useful for tracking people. This is partly why 5G wireless running on the 25–39 GHz band is being pushed hard, despite the enormous cost of a "microcell" network at those frequencies. It allows tracking cellphone users with greater resolution. Ask Steve Quinn about that, if you dare.....
