Hey, I've got to tell you about Steven Pruitt. He's the man who started editing Wikipedia since 2004, but now he became the worst administrator ever to reach 4,380,500 edits for 17 years.

ok but for what it's worth, there is an older thread about him
Oh yeah, I heard that a man got arrested following a fatal crash near Clear Lake. Is that right?
Just a weird coincidence. People die on that road all the time because it's narrow and has very tight curves and idiots speed on it.
So what have you got about "Ser Amontillado de Fatassico" or whatever the hell he calls himself? He owes his "high status" to two major things: editing bots, and the previous top editor Justin Knapp was b&. How convenient for Pruitt. Whose ass did he kiss to make that happen, one wonders.
Knapp's article is STILL THERE. How fucking pathetic is that? Especially with the photo of him with Orange Mike....behold the "cream" of Wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Justin_Knapp
Knapp has had several jobs, including delivering pizzas for the Indianapolis pizzeria Just Pizza,[20] working at a grocery store, and a crisis hotline.[21][13]
Oh, right, he was fighting with some other petty edit-addict over the Elliot Page awards article. Who went and got another petty admin to block him. Prominent trans people get "speshul treatment" now. Haven't looked at it closely and would not surprise me if Knapp was correct and the rules for sourcing were being abused here. But he still came off as an angry incel-boy. Which one expects from "Wikipedians". https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?ti ... ember_2020

And here's that now-forgotten chart of Wikipedians in real life from 2008. The demographic has NOT changed very much since then. Both Knapp AND Pruitt fit this profile very well when they started grinding.
