EpicPupper

Post by Kumioko » Thu Jul 07, 2022 9:04 pm

I don't see anything on this character yet.

I noticed more Wikipedia editors on twitter blocking me and wondered why. Apparently EpicPupper was running ground stalking me on twitter and pressuring people to unfollow or block me. Strangely, he also has me blocked so he must be going out of his way to contact these people.

Here is a screenshot of one from the Wikimedia Discord channel.

post links to any accounts you suspect to be the same person, and I'll try to figure them out.

I'm not sure if they are a sock of another user, but looking through the edits it gives the air of someone who is already familiar with editing who starts off slow to keep from rousing attention and in a short period of time, knows technical aspects of the project that usually take much longer to learn.

A few more details:

Looked thru his profiles. It's really not obvious that he's a sockpuppet of an older WP user, history is too complicated, and Instagram isn't saved by any archive sites so there is very little to go on that way. Original username was "DoggieTimesTwo". All records erased or merged.

He does have a "personal website" where he reveals his name to be Freddie Zhang. There is a "prominent business type" by that name in Toronto. Unlikely to be the same guy--he's got a life. And would not waste thousands of hours sucking ass on Discord and Twitter to enter the Wikipedia orbit. Freddie is doing everything possible to get an RFA. Including screwing you over. Congrats Kumi, those little fuckhead lusers REALLY hate you.

Last year he claimed to be the "vice president" of something called the MCI Foundation, involved with something called "Genius Bot". Doesn't seem to be this now-defunct outfit.

Otherwise he's gone to a lot of effort to hide his personal details. All I see is a coding nerd and basement dweller type, player of the "Wikipedia Adventure" (how pathetic), fascinated by the Doukhobors and Stig Jarle Hansen. It is not unusual for an experienced wiki-gamer to generate random content like this to hide his personal identity/background. After the first month he started grinding with bots, but didn't get serious until April 2021. Which includes getting involved with article deletion processes--that is now mandatory for a serious asslick and admin candidate.

I'd insert grumbling about millennial assholes but that would be gratuitous. Have a nice day.
