Is vandalism keeping Wikipedia running

At this point, nearly all wiki power users are mainly just vandalism reverters, so that got me thinking, is vandalism actually keeping Wikipedia alive. Think about it, they have millions, they could EASILY stop vandalism if they wanted to, but they don’t. They know that if they did, all of the corrupt patrol-admins would hate them and quit, but they can’t do nothing at all, so they just do the bare minimum to appear to being do something about it and to make the MMORPG more fun for admins. Maybe by rebelling you’re actually being just like the admins.

Key Performance Indicator. So many admins were desysopped for inactivity early this month.

Oh. How many? (I think I saw a graph of that recently [on this forum], but I don't remember where)

It made the active admins count to fall below 1000 for the first time.

I just went check that as that seemed rather high, and it's not active administrators, it's ALL administrators.
I was rather surprised by this as last time I checked, they had 1100 admins. Wikipedia is literally collapsing in real-time.

Regardless of that, it's just so fun when the admins get really angry, hell Rodhullandemu even lost it and made a threat to rip someone's head off if they wouldn't stop vandalising on commons! I once had a Wikipedo called "VonKranke" tell me to stay away from Wikipedia because I was indef blocked for heroically vandalising the site, all whilst he was blatantly trolling the IRC channel.
When I tried to get him to calm down and stop trolling, he responded by thanking me for giving him my IP address and calling me an "Aspietard" as well as commenting that I should get psychological help. I was only 16 FFS, can't you cut kids a break. I think I remember going to at least one sysop about it, they told me that there was nothing they could do about it as it was in PMs. I can't believe that I get a WMF global ban for a bit of trolling and making threats that I obviously wasn't going to carry out to "whip your ass" to multiple sysops, whilst this fucking creep gets fuck all for obsessively stalking me on IRC.

Who would be measuring them?
