Wikipedia Sucks!

Dicklyon, a.k,a. Richard Lyon, one of those properly anal editors who has an obsession over capital letters, has after a lengthy discussion been topic banned from all capitalization issues.

Appears that his modus operandi is that if he doesn't get his way at a RM, he just comes along a couple of years later and moves it anyway. What an asshole. Case has now gone to ARBCOM.

He has been on the site since 2005, so he feels entitled.

Quite easy to predict that this Arbcom case will be a waste of effort and little will result. Nerd vs. nerd and all that rubbish.

I always want to say his name like normal words. You know how when you say personal names it's Dick LYON, but with normal words it's DICK lion.

Go ahead, pronounce it "Dick Lyin'". I can tell you want to, and I'll bet some of his fellow Wiki-Addicts are already doing it.....human decency and WP:CIVILITY has always been a bit scarce in their grim microuniverse. It does happen, but the administrators and functionaries (the people supposed to ENFORCE the rules) are among the most uncivil assholes on the whole thing.

Thing is, I didn't even mention him in the book wiki because he's such an utterly trivial and little-noticed character. Being the focus of an arbitration could change that--well, maybe.

Except for the capitalization nonsense, Dick is usually just one of the many twits being complained about--by another twit.
