wbm1058

What I love about Wikipediocracy, is they happily give asshole Wikipedia Administrators a platform to denigrate all the people they supposedly exist to serve, in what is theoretically a mere janitorial role.

Take a look at how Wikipedia Admin wbm1058 (who aptly posts as "no ledge") casually dismisses a major corpus of Wikipedia editors......
http://wikipediocracy.com/forum/viewtop ... 58#p216758
We should favor "content stewards" over wiki-lawyering busybodies who might focus on infoboxes-or-not the same way some have focused on article titling decisions (e.g. en-dash or hyphen, proper name or not, parenthetical or natural disambiguation).
What kind of arrogant dickhead doesn't appreciate that infoboxes and titles are content? Why does he think people get so mad about it? Because getting such basic things right doesn't matter for an entity aiming to be a respected encyclopedia? What a fool. And what the hell is even doing talking about infoboxes? As I showed in that thread, he knows absolutely fuck all about it.

What makes this all the more hilarious, is that wbm1058 isn't a content guy at all, when he's not playing mall cop, he'a a bot monkey.

Look how he talked down to Born2Cycle, a title specialist, recently blocked (as detailed in his own thread)......
As an administrator who considers himself a moderator at WT:RM, and who operates the bot that supports the WP:RM process, I too consider myself "involved" and support the above-stated terms for unblocking. I don't use my block button very often, nor participate on the "drama boards" much, so I did not see the Arbitration Enforcement discussion until after it had already been closed. You guys have done an exemplary job.

Just to clarify, I believe that Born2cycle still has the privilege of participation on this page, so the discussion has moved to this venue, where he wanted it to. I certainly don't feel much urgency to remove this block, certainly not before we hear from B2C here. If he wishes to branch out from his comfort zone to work in other more understaffed aspects of project maintenance and administration, I have a mile-long to-do list and can point him to areas where the problems are much more severe than sub-optimal article titles, and more hands are needed to help. wbm1058 (talk) 14:56, 8 March 2018 (UTC)
What a cock. Unsurprisingly, B2C hasn't edited Wikipedia since the block, which was applied by another condescending Admin with no content credentials to speak of. And why would he? Who would ever be stupid enough to take advice on what they should and should not be editing from people like this? Do these fuckwits really not appreciate that Wikipedia editors are unpaid?

1058 = 2 * 23²

That is surely meaningful. As may be the nurse's refrain IBM, UBM we all BM. We're all fuckwits from time to time. I believe I've just been one, for example... and I'm sure you have: you're fuckinwit him for no good reason 'cept buzz.

In the past, you've criticized the guy for asking the WMF for paid labor hours, now here he is trying to get your free labor admitted into the WPO cesspool again (and -- incidentally -- advertising for a proofer-filter-channeler, which I notice he didn't offer to be ^^ ) and trying to recruit Born2Cycle into warding the darkest corners of the sty.

Who could ask for more?
