Missing Connected Contributor templates

Post by CrowsNest » Thu Dec 20, 2018 11:39 am

Just a reminder thread that even when Wikipedians disclose a conflict of interest, that doesn't necessarily mean readers are properly made aware of it.

The following templates should have been added to the following article talk pages, but at time of writing, have not been....

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Oxide_jacking

{{Connected contributor
| User1 = Cullen328
| U1-EH = yes
| U1-declared = yes
| U1-otherlinks = https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?ti ... =558864836
}}

(more to follow)

If you would like to be a part of Wikipedia's efforts to be seen as whiter than white in the realm of COI, then kindly make the edits to add these templates to the relevant talk pages. But if you do, and you do not credit Wikipedia Sucks! in the edit summary as the place you learned of this important omission from the world's best encyclopedia, well, I might not like that. Fair warning. :!:

If you think you don't want to make the edits, that the readers of Wikipedia are best served by finding out much later via their preferred critic site that they were misled by not being told of the hidden motivations at work, well, hey, we're OK with that too. 8-)
