Marianne Williamson has re-entered the race for the third time starting a few days ago.

Millions of people, including myself, think she would be a great replacement for Biden if the media could go with a "love Trumps hate" Williamson campaign spree to the degree they've been calling for candidates to drop out. That is, dozens of articles and multiple hours of brainwashing per day.
She had performed #2 in votes in the Dem primary, which literally every media outlet is trying their hardest to make voters forget, including some liberal media like the Daily Show.
She actually performed relatively decent in my county and surrounding ones considering how shut out she was from the national conversation. I think she would be polling better than Trump among the general population had she been the Dem front-runner and had the media been as purposefully blind to her issues as they were to Biden before his debate. As, at least in my mind, she was clearly more qualified than Biden for this job.
The fact engaged Democrats are acting like Biden's mental decline was a """"surprise"""" on June 28th is on its own ridiculous. Combine that with them trying to memory-hole Williamson as the second in votes, shows they might not be particularly honest about this election, despite a lurch to be more honest on the surface. And then combine that with the corporate media proposing no alternative to Biden, while calling for BIden to drop out. This whole thing feels dishonest, and i don't know where their true motives lie.
I have a number of theories though as to why the corporate media seems more interested in blowing this election up in a sea of negativity at the first major opportunity rather than proposing positive, rational alternatives:
- Media elites openly preferred Trump to Clinton in 2016, often citing falling revenues as reasons for selfishly wanting Trump to win, this might be a factor here in 2024.
- CNN's 2016 chief executive was thrilled about the 2016 Trump campaign, to the point of calling Trump "the Boss" in private, trying to set up a talk show for Trump and airing hours of his campaign events. It's not implausible that Mark Thompson or some other management at CNN is somewhat similar to his predecessor, Zucker, in that respect. The split-screen in the first debate was clearly something they knew would hurt Biden.
- Corporate and legacy media corporate management as a whole need chaos and strife to keep from going under. They always need some new thing to make America constantly fearful over. This includes perhaps yet again preferring a headline-grabbing, anxiety-provoking person to win the presidency to keep from drowning . Biden is not that person.
