A nice reminder that nothing Bbb23 does on Wikipedia is done because it has to be done, or needs to be done. That nobody forces him to do anything, it is always his voluntary choice.

I think these people see there activity on WP as a long time investment what will pay back one day. For them Wikipedia is something to be someone what they never, never will be or to reach something they will never reach in real life.
Or they are pushing there ideas and visions what are not realistic, a world without copyright, a complete female world because the lord or better the lady made a huge mistake by creating a man in there eyes, etc. People with a agenda make the rules. The Romaines of this world. Crazy gender woman filled up with complexes. Bad behaving to woman is a culture thing, it has nothing to do with man or woman an sich. Just like the wiki culture is getting very toxic for man. Why? Because volunteers had to solve the so called gender gap.

For these kind of people is Wikipedia the Cave of Wonder in Aladdin. It is not only the money, even the biggest loser can be a wiki hero by being a tremendous jerk. You can make very easy a wiki career as the lord of the shit. In fact it is the only way to make a wiki career.

It's a good point, but an even better point is the many different creative ways they've found to ignore the rules they did make (and their attitude to the small set of quite important rules they did not make, but are often inconvenient).

When you have people like Bbb23 in positions of power, you might as well not have any rules. He doesn't need to make the rules when he can quite easily ignore any that he wishes to. He's not supposed to keep riding to the rescue of his boyfriend, he's meant to recognise his conflict of interest and let the community judge Drmies' actions in an open forum, and let them carry the blame when they inevitably clear him. He's so scared that one day this might not happen and his boyfriend's charmed life might eventually come to an end, that he just does what he wants to ensure it never can. Rules schmules.

Further to prior posts, with no effort at all, I was able to determine the IP of Wikipedia user who previously edited Wikipedia under what one could assume was a real name, and whose edits are to say the least, something that would draw the attention of Putin's assasins. All because Bbb23 is either too lazy to do the job right, or worse, actually wants people to be able to figure this out, without him explicitly revealing people's confidential data and this getting into serious trouble with WMF Legal, regardless of what the asshole volunteers think of his efforts.

Just an example of how Bbb23's untouchable status and the WMF's lax attitude to monitoring what these volunteers actually do is not just a theoretical issue, not just a matter of Wikipedia not living up to policies that don't matter. They do matter.

Well I never. Wikipedia officialdom is preparing to say something critical about Bbb23's conduct as an Administrator (from the Arbitration Case Proposed Decision).......

During the discussion at ANI about GiantSnowman's use of the mass rollback tool, Bbb23 (talk · contribs · blocks · protections · deletions · page moves · rights · RfA) marked the discussion as closed. While closing, Bbb23 said: GS's response is satisfactory. There is no reason that he cannot use mass rollback for socking and vandalism. No administrative action is going to be taken here.

Bbb23 asserted that concerns had been addressed and further discussion would be unfruitful. Concerns about GiantSnowman's use of the tool were unresolved at that point and Bbb23's closure was premature, given the circumstances at the time.

Drmies must be kicking himself that he was unable to get reelected. How dare they speak ill of his boyfriend, he would have shut that down in a heartbeat. Tough luck Drmies, this is what happens when you let power go to your head, you lose the opportunity to use it when it really counts.

This is only a finding of fact, which means it is left to the voting section for people to really be able to see why it is being said.......

Proposed. Taking actions with good intentions can nevertheless lead to consequences that were difficult to foresee. Several respected members of the community were challenging GiantSnowman's actions prior to the ANI thread closing. If their challenges were allowed to be heard, I think this matter may not have reached arbitration. And if it did, less conflict would probably have been generated along the way. This thread on this here website of course has countless examples of Bbb23 exercising his Administrative power to shut down reports before the community has had a chance to review it, several of which seem to always relate to the same Administrator, the rest being within the broad class of Administrators who clearly have little regard for the principle that they are not cops whose rulings cannot be questioned, but janitors, whose every move must be available for scrutiny, to those they nominally serve, if not to outsiders like us.
