"Global Resource Distribution Committee"

Look at this ridiculously bureaucratic BS: https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Global_ ... e/Proposal

In typical WMF fashion, even this wasn't absurd enough. So they decided to form a team just to decide how to form the interim stage of this team. I wonder if they'll form a second team when it's out of the interim stage? Maybe a third team for the interim-interim transition interim stage planning stage?

Regarding your leak, Ashley Rindsberg has been contacted about that and he should have reached you by email or Reddit by now. Here's a question. Does the leak include the internal wikis like the Arbcom, CheckUser and Oversight wikis? How did you encounter the databases? Shodan? Censys?

Can confirm. Wait, so did you get him to contact me? I thought it was confidential.

No. Also, there is no such thing as "oversight wiki".

I didn't breach WMF databases.

Yes, I did get Ashley Rindsberg to contact you. But anyways how did you obtain the leak(s), especially those deleted articles and oversighted revisions? Did you simply exploit a vulnerability in Mediawiki's codebase to exfiltrate the data without actually breaching the databases?

I don't want to say publicly for the time being.

Okay, but let's rephrase the question. Did an actual hack occur or not, or was the methodology in obtaining the leak more benign in terms of legality?

Alright. How many other wikis besides Meta Wiki and English Wikipedia is affected by the leak?

Although you could help to eventually change that: viewtopic.php?f=18&t=3525
