This person really, really hates him. I mean really.

As usual! Fighting with McCulloch himself, and getting McCulloch banned......

Pseudoscience and medical crackpottery cause Wikipedians to gnash their teeth. Imagine the rage this caused. I'm amazed Cirt and his sockpuppets didn't make a bigger stink here.

They are trying to suck up to the CSI(COP) types who copied James Randi, and JREF was mostly doing stuff on medical "pseudoscience" right before it imploded and then Randi died years later. You have to understand that Randi made some press in the late-'70s and early-'80s exposing the "psychic surgeons" of the Philippines (remember them?) It doesn't help that a lot of these people in skepticism are either young punks or Older Than Dirt, the two groups horrified by tales of medical malpractice (no insurance vs. scared of being shushed-off by the doctor).

When all the Fundie hillbillies and dipshit Libertarians die off for not getting vaccinated, some of the psychic damage to the landscape will be allowed to heal, finally.

Similar, yet worse, case: the duly graduated and licensed neurology surgeon Christopher Duntsch. Even a medical license is no guarantee of "medical quality".

Needless to say, Wikipedia rages at him.....but not with as much rage as "alternative practitioners" usually receive.

compare:

Even WP's treatment of medicine, in general, has a political slant.
