She's in the news again:

Years ago Katherine Maher was heading up the Wikimedia Foundation. Wikipediasucks.co exposed her at that time. Needless to say, she has a glowing biography in Wikipedia which doesn't mention her spooky connections.

As usual this story was ignored--mostly. The media are still blabbering about Elon Musk and "Dickipedia". Also: how dare he criticize Israel. Cosgrave must be "punished". Yadda yadda.

Does Cosgrave have a WIkipedia article? Of course. And it's already been updated to rant about this "controversy". Along with many other "controversies", nearly all based on something he posted to Twitter/X. One would think he was a regular Irish Elon Musk. Personally I had never heard of him before this.

Or we have this crap, which was just posted--and apparently written by an AI.

Here's some of the info on Ms. Maher that was published more than three years ago. There's more detail about her CIA activities. See the info under this subheading: "The Wikimedia Foundation’s Katherine Maher: US regime-change operative with deep corporate links"

Also might note that the media are practically lining up to go after Cosgrave, while pretending that Maher is some sort of "golden shining paragon of humanity" or what-have-you. There's a limit to what she can do to "fix" Web Summit, though....not that she actually WILL fix it.....
As of 2022, Cosgrave held 81% of Manders Terrace, the controlling company behind Web Summit, according to court filings. Kelly and Hickey, who own the remaining shares, wrote to the company’s board after Cosgrave resigned calling for their former business partner to sell all his shares, citing what they allege is ongoing reputational damage he’s caused. Kelly and Hickey declined to comment through representatives.

And you just KNEW she was gonna bring in the Sole Flounder....
Wikipedia chief Jimmy Wales is also set to speak on the main stage on the opening night of the event

She's more of a State Department ghoul than a CIA ghoul. Not there's much of difference between the two. The liberal NGO machine she operates in is largely a State Department proxy.

Here's a pretty thorough list of all of the bad things she's done, ironically by someone trying to make her look good: https://archive.is/IWBuD

They aren't trying to make her look good, they're being sarcastic.

is "ghoul" a nicer way of saying "spook"? maybe spook is out of favor because of the racial connotation

No, it's just an insult to emphasize how evil these people are.
