His link-rotted Critiques of Libertarianism has vanished. His wiki version of the same site has vanished. We think he is in Costa Rica, but we don't know.

Where is Mike Huben?

Bring in tarantino to be a skip tracer again.

To be fair, you might also mention this Crooked Timber post from 2020, Mike posted a comment below it.

If Huben was fighting with Randroids, you can be damn sure he was being threatened and abused constantly. Just like L. Ron Hubbard ordering his minions to ruin the public reputations of Scientology critics and ex-members. Same playbook, same variety of sick little minds.

No idea if Mike fought with Jimbo and company on Usenet. It's possible but nothing remains on Google Groups, the only real archive of Usenet remaining. There are a few ancient threads from alt-politics.libertarian with Mike being "featured". Holy crap did they hate him, and whatta bunch of kooks anyhow....this is from 1993:

It was like that with Ayn Rand Contra Human Nature, go back to the pre-2017 years when the debates were red hot, like here:

It's a contentious group. A real killer for online Objectivists and Libertarians was the screaming failure of the Atlas Shrugged trilogy (2011-14), which had to be put on Kickstarter to beg for donations to finish the final film.

The internet laughed to the bloody end.
