tl;dr archived stuff, see link below
Earlier today a GitHub titled "I-S00N" leaked supposedly sensitive Chinese government data - specifically related to offensive cyber security.
The initial discovery, and documentation of the documents, derive from
@AzakaSekai_
. We have archived his research and notes on the material.
It should be noted that they *probably have not covered the material in totality and more information can be expected to be released in the following days from either Azaka, or other Cyber Threat Intelligence experts familiar with Chinese state-sponsored activity.
Furthermore, the materials are written in Mandarin. We have made no attempt to translate the material to English and we do not speak Mandarin, hence we cannot provide any opinion or speculation on the material. We will leave that painstaking task to individuals who speak Mandarin, or people who feel like trying to translate the documents accurately.
What an exciting start to the week:)
There might be a slim chance that the leak will implicate Softlemonades and Genabab, who were reported by Taiwan News as suspected CCP agents for their POV tampering of articles two years ago.

Assuming you're talking about this?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2021_Wiki ... _Wikipedia
Which is a perfect example of English Wikipedia reproducing Wikimedia Foundation official cant, about an actual internal political scandal. This got VERY little notice in the news media when it happened. Because OF COURSE Wikipedia Iz Magic.

Doesn't mean "
Softlemonades" and "Chimney Sweepa" and whoever aren't connected to the Chinese WP abuse by CCP-connected editors. Often the same people working from the same organization. WPers are so fond of paranoid secrecy they leave a big open window for abuse by anonymous state-run propagandists. Sockpuppetry abounds.
WP insiders often don't handle abuses by state actors on WP well, and the Chinese government clearly hates the way zh-WP has been run, which is why "unrelated parties but not really" have set up that "Qiuwen Baike" thing. Just like
Ruwiki, a corrupt government wants to heel Wikipedia and does not get desired results, so they try to create their own encyclo-thing. At this point anything to do with the Ukraine war might involve the PRC's interests, since Putin and Winnie-the-pooh Xi are bosom buds, and China has provided considerable support for the Russian military.
And let's not start on Anonymous itself and "hacktivists" in general. Wikipedians tend to openly LOVE those types, and repressive governments tend to hate them, even if they aren't directly attacking that government. Guaranteed friction point. And it will only get uglier.
You COULD try asking Andreas Kolbe what he thinks of "Softlemonades".

Well, that's fair becuase ZH-WP is effectively controlled by mainland and western actors.

China and Russia are far less corrupt than the west.

In fact, he was asked about Softlemonades shortly after the publication of the Taiwan News article and he agree with the observation that "Softlemonades" is a POV-pusher
at least, but the only method for now is WP:ROPE until if and when the hard evidences come out, which might seem possible in the I-S00N leaks.

Now on media. Time will tell if the hard evidences will come out or not.
