Dear Ovsk Mendov,

This communication is to notify you that the Wikimedia Foundation (Foundation) has globally banned you from Foundation websites and platforms (including but not limited to any site listed at www.wikimedia.org, mailing lists hosted by the Foundation, Wikimedia Cloud Services, and the Wikimedia blog) as well as any in-person events sponsored or funded by the Foundation including any events hosted by Wikimedia Affiliates using funds from the Foundation. You accordingly may not participate in, edit, contribute, or otherwise modify any content on those sites, platforms, or lists. This ban is placed against you personally, not against a particular username. It applies to any alternate accounts that you may control and any accounts you may create in the future. Furthermore, you may not participate as an anonymous user ("as an IP user").

We are taking this action due to the concern of the safety of our users and the integrity of the projects, and in compliance with the WMF Global ban policy <https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/WMF_Global_Ban_Policy>. We have received credible complaints regarding your targeted harassment, automated email spam, privacy breaches and doxxing, and template vandalism on multiple wikis which we feel on review requires this action.

Our normal practice is that only this account ban information will be made public while other information communicated to you in this notice will not be published elsewhere. Yeah I know that. If anything, I'm actually gratified that I have been apparently recognized enough to be banned by the WMF. ;)

I think have been pretty good with OPSEC. I have always used a VPN, Tor, or proxy when editing. To this day, my home IP is still not blocked.

Believe me: it is bullshit. Large quantities of the "evildoers" on the "Global Ban" thing are still editing WP occasionally today. Probably most of them in fact. Grawp still pops up occasionally to post putdowns, and he's been "banned" more than almost anyone else, literally thousands of times. Salsman has been tossed, then invited back, far more times than you will see in any block log. Poetlister practically sits as a "minor lord" on Wikipediocracy--dollar sez he still operates unnoticed WP socks. Greg Kohs has dozens of socks and I've run across a few of them doing paid editing. Kumioko runs socks also.

Jake Christie has NEVER, EVER edited any WMF project. Why is he "globally banned"?

Now do you understand why I view the "Wikipedia Community" as a pathetic joke? They deserve perpetual abuse and criticism because they can't even get their OWN house in order. But are willing to lecture others about trivial nonsense. See Genderdesk for a good example.

I could keep going. The "Unsuccessful" list has some real peaches. Reguyla, Ottava Rima, Slowking4, INeverCry, DanielTom, all have brutal 10-year-plus histories of fighting over content. STILL not "global b&d". Ottava was swanning around on Wikipedia Review almost 15 years ago.

No one spends more time rage-typing than a "good Wikipedian". Or a "bad" one trying to fight with a "good" one. Not much difference.

I'm actually 100% sure I never violated Wikipedia's terms of service at the time I was globally banned. Don't think I even sockpupetted or ban evaded a language specific ban at the time. Might have been because I took a former WMF employee to ArbCom, and had a negative article on one of my wikis about a top Wikipedia spokesperson. But the article wasn't even mean or harassing, and they are a public figure in the news. WMF just pretended I was another editor to keep me from coming back on another language wiki or something. At the time, i had no plan on coming back really. Asked them in their iRC why i was globally banned years ago and they just said "kick him out", lmao.

Yourself however, I can see how you might have violated their terms of service.
