"CorbieVreccan" was originally called Kathryn (Price) NicDhana, a very kooky lady from Arizona who was obsessed with Celtic history and religion. Moved to New England and started obsessing over Native American history. She was forced out of WP last year by Tamzin. Someday those little shits will realize that Tamzin is very bad news, and do a toss-job. Until then, ruination occurs. Incidents like this usually make content worse, not better.

Kathryn was accused of having a second admin account.....

If you don't have a migraine yet, you will after reading Kathryn's abandoned blog. Fights with people on x-shitter nowadays.

And it all related to squabbles over Indigenous American content, and yes, Indigeous girl was involved. And also forced out. "I do not know what I am doing."

As for the actual paper: it's factually accurate on broad terms, but makes claims like "Long-time Wikipedia editors responsible for these U.S. history pages hold deep biases against Native peoples." without bothering to name some of them or offering further detailed evidence.

A table of examples on en-WP, currently existing and not derived from old diffs, would help to support the paper's claims considerably. The Notes at the end don't cover that very well. The only writer I can find who has made this claim is Kyle Keeler, the author of the paper. He works at Lafayette College as an environmental-science professor, who sez "I am also currently researching how settler colonialism functions to erase Native American philosophy, science, and history on Wikipedia."

It's easy to complain about bias on WP. And there's plenty of it. But fixing it is damn bloody hard work. You've got to PROVE everything in detail, using "acceptable references", and then beat WP insiders over the head with them. And even that doesn't always work.

(BTW, the Wikipediocracy post he tried to reference was deleted. Wee Billy doesn't like it when someone WP:OUTs a precious Wikipedian. The rest of the thread is still there.)

It wasn't deleted, the url was just broken. Here's a fixed link: https://wikipediocracy.com/forum/viewto ... 06#p332306
